Mark's face was twisted into a combination of confusion and worry. Matt's was wreathed with pure anger, Ryan's face matching his.
"Oh you Swedish motherfucker," Matt sneered, lurching out at Felix. Ryan caught Mark under his arm before he collapsed on the floor. With the small amount of strength Jack had left, he used his speed to see what exactly was happening. Seeing through the blur of his eyes, he saw an image he wished to forget. Felix's face was contorted in equal amounts of anger that Matt's was. His arms were outstretched before him, reaching for Felix's throat. Ryan had his arms under Mark's, holding him up. The blue-haired boy was clearly drunk, his hand squeezing onto Ryan's shirt with confusion in his eyes. They were gradually turning to worry as his head slowly turned to look at what was happening before him. Jack snapped out of the mode he was in, turning to stop Matt.
He was just a moment late.
Matt's long fingers were curled around Felix's throat, while he struggled to pry his hands away. The two had almost the same amount of muscle mass, Felix being more muscular by a sliver. Matt's voice came out hoarse, most likely a result of the alcohol.
"You better give me a damn good reason why you were beating up my friend before I shove a meatball down your goddamn throat, Kjellberg!" Felix just smirked as blood seeped from his nose. For some odd reason, he started chuckling, then started laughing. Like, full out laughter.
"You're so clueless, aren't you? You don't know a thing 'bout your friend there," he pointed an accusing finger at Jack, gritting his teeth at him. This sentence only made Matt's fingers keep a stronger grip on his throat, starting to lift the Swede off his feet. One of his laughs turned into a choke, coughing a small amount of blood in Matt's face.
Jack's fist flew out of nowhere, plunging it in the middle of Felix's face with all the vigor he could muster. Just as he expected, his body fell limp, being knocked out from the one hit. Matt released his grip once he realized that Felix was unconscious, letting him drop to the floor. A small tinge of defeat spread throughout Jack, joining Felix on the ground. Ryan released a low screech, losing grip on Mark. He fell down, looking at Jack with worry in his eyes. Matt's arms outstretched to help Jack, grabbing at his tiny arms to yank him off the ground. He gave his face a gentle slap to keep him awake. Jack's eyes fluttered to stay awake, staring at Matt. His eyes flicked over to Mark to see how he was holding up, seeing his friend on the ground scooted in a corner. Ryan walked over the Matt, holding his fragile body in his arms. Jack pressed his back against the wall holding his knees to his chest.
The realization dawned upon Jack of whom Felix actually was. The thought of him being Broverse frightened him, because who knows how much he knew about him. He didn't pay much attention to masking who he was, growing up with Marvel comics and all. He felt a hand touch his knees, rubbing a thumb across the front. Jack looked up, seeing Mark's gentle face looking down at him. Without words, Mark lifted up his injured friend, throwing his arm over his shoulder. The two walked out of the room together with Matt and Ryan trailing behind. People turned their heads to look at the boys, but no one dared to speak any words.

Warmth spread throughout the Irish boy's body, making him snuggle deeper into the covers. A rough feeling surrounded his hand, making his eyes shoot open. Mark's broad form was leaning against the bed, holding onto Jack's small hand. His lips were parted open, quiet snores escaping his throat. Hair was astray, parts sticking to his forehead and others flying off in different directions. He had the same clothes on as last night, blotches of blood on his shirt and jeans. Jack shifted his body back up to get a better look at his roommate, but once he did, Mark stirred. His hand moved out of Jack's, a feeling the Irish-boy started to miss once he did, stretching his arms upward. Slowly waking up, he caught sight of Jack. His breath caught in his throat, which made him make some inhuman noise at the same time he yawned.
