"C'mon honey, just breathe," Phillip soothes his wife, Meredith, patting her back softly and rubbing his hand on her arm. Soon to be a mother and father.
Meredith screams in pain.
"It's gonna be okay love- deep breaths, deep breaths," the nurse tries to make Meredith relax but she continues groaning and moaning making her husband worried and uncomfortable.
"Sweetie, you're almost there," almost making Phillip relieved that this will soon finally be over.
"AHH!," Meredith takes one last breath and the deed is done.
"Mrs. Archer, such a beautiful baby girl you have," the nurse says holding the baby.
The little fetus cries, covered in blood. Meredith reaches for her daughter and smiles and cries tears of joy. Meredith stares into her daughters eyes. Her eyes are blue and bright and are filled with wonder.
"Aw, Phillip. Look at her," Meredith tilts her body towards Phillip to get a closer look at their newly born daughter.
"Sage," Phillip says. He stared into the babies eyes. Still crying, the baby moves from side to side, whining. He smiles at her then looks back to Meredith.
"Sage Archer."
