~ Continuation from Part Twenty One ~
Sage's POV
I walk into the school, my expression blank. I honestly just wanted to go home, and sit on my bed and cry.
I see Rosie and Connor standing there watching me. Ugh, there the last people I want to see.
Rosie approaches me, with a concern plastered on her face.
"Can we please talk-"
"Leave me alone." I simply state and continue walking.
"Sage, please!" Rosie cries. I turn to her and stare deeply into her hazel eyes. But there was no way, that I could stand being friends with her. I mean, I'd have to see them every day and the pain, it would just kill me.
I furiously held back my tears and took a deep breath.
"Get the hell away from me." I snap at her. She flinched and I could tell that those words had hurt her.
I turned and walked away from her, leaving her standing in the middle of the hallway, speechless.

When will this goddamn day end! I walk through the hallway and a familiar voice call me
"Sage!"
I turn and see Lydia Davis running towards me, waving her hand at me.
"Oh, hi Lydia." I say, and continue walking. She gives me a confused look and starts walking with me.
"Hey are you okay?" She asks. Lydia was one of Rosie's friends. She sat with me and Rosie during lunch but Lydia and I were never really that close. We just knew each other through Rosie. What does she want with me?
"Yea, I'm fine," I say in a low voice as I continue walking, not looking at Lydia.
She rolled her eyes. "Your clearly not."
I stop in my tracks and glare at her. Who does she think she is?
"Okay number one, you barely know me so why are talking to me. Number two, you don't know anything about me, so don't act like you know how I'm feeling. Number three, please leave me alone, and stop following me, its annoying!" I shout at her. I immediately regretted what I said. Oh my god, what is happening to me! I need to breathe.
She looked at me and was shocked by my sudden outburst.
"Okay, I'm sorry, I was just going to invite you to a party that I was going to, to, I don't know, make you feel better, but if you want to be a bitch, fine!" Lydia grumbles, as she tosses the paper at me but I catch it before it touches the ground and read it. It was flier to a party at Jason Grants house, that almost the whole school was invited to. I usually never get invited but sometimes because I'm so close to Rosie I do. But I never go. Its not really my crowd.
"Lydia," I reach for her arm. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you. It's just Rosie and I are fighting and I- I don't know how to..." I honestly didn't know how I felt. I had fell in love with my best friend since the day I first met her on that playground and watching her date someone else, and that someone else being my ex boyfriend, I don't know, I just couldn't deal with it all.
"Its okay, Sage." Lydia says. She smiles at me and pulls me into a hug. I really needed that. "Why don't you come to the party with me. It wouldn't kill you to have some fun for a change."
I roll my eyes. "I have fun," I say.
"Yea, if you call sitting at home fun." She states. I shook my head, in amusement. Should I go to this party? I mean, it would be fun. And I do need a distraction from all this drama.
