"Where are we going (Y/N)?" Sting whined as you pulled him along. He doesn't sound happy about being pulled away from those two but you were sure you could turn that around.
"Gray showed me this one place... it was really beautiful. We may be old but that doesn't mean we can't have fun like we're young." You laughed.
Sting stopped in his tracks and your realized he was only letting you pull him.
"Don't say that." He said in a low voice that you could barely make out.
You tilted your head, not understanding. "Say what?"
"Don't call yourself old!" Sting pulled you back into his arms and embraced you. It'd been so long since you've hugged him, your knee's buckled and your face got really hot. 'Am i blushing? Why?'
"I'm sorry i wasn't always there when you needed me. I'm sorry that i stopped coming home. I'm sorry that i forgot about how much i love you." He apologized.
You pulled away and looked in his eyes, but actually saw this time. His eyes had bags under them from lack of sleep, his posture was slouched, his eyes were glassy and his hair was a mess.
Your eyes flicked down. You hadn't realized how much he had changed. Sucking it up, you grabbed his hand again and pulled him along not letting him stop you.

You finally made it up the hill where a giant bolder sat at the top and faced the west. It cast a giant shadow that reached the bottom of the hill, but when you looked out at the sunset, the bolder was flat as if it had been cut.
You both sat down and Sting wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you close. You both stared into the sunset, never wanting this time and space to end.
You noticed the flowers blowing in the soft breeze and you picked them and wove the stems together in a flower crown.
"What are you doing?" Sting smiled and looked over your shoulder. You had just finished, and you plopped a crown on his blonde hair and one on yours.
"Am I the king? That makes you my queen." He kissed your cheek as you giggled in delight.
"Forever and always."
"Always and forever." He sighed and leaned back closing his eyes. The bolder sat him up and so you watch the sun make its final departure before the crimson turned to raven.
