"Mom, you don't understand, HE DOESNT LOVE ME!" Nashi cried. You came over to hang with Natsu, but Lucy and Nashi came home arguing.
"You're just overreacting. I'm sure it was just the pressure." Lucy waved it off. That wasn't like her at all.
"Luce." Natsu got to her before you did. "What's wrong with you? Both of you?"
Nashi looked at you with glassy and tired eyes. She wanted you to understand. You couldn't, but you know Dunya would...
"He said that he loved Nova... So I was just a desperate girl and he was just a lovesick boy and we... Caught fire..." She slumped against the wall.
"What's happening to us? We used to be such great friends... The kids were getting along so well and... Now it's all fallen apart." Lucy began crying too.
You and Natsu exchanged a look of confusion. Seeing how everything basically evolved around the two of you (factoring in the manga) you couldn't sense small changes anymore.
"Where did it all go wrong?" You stared at the beer you had poured and pushed it away.
"Maybe... Maybe this was a good thing. I don't need to feel like someone has to love me. I can be on my own if I wanted!" Nashi stood up. "I- I could be like Sylvia and I wouldn't have to lose my family!"
"Looks like you figured it out." Natsu kissed his daughter's forehead and watched her run out the door.
"When did you become so cool?" You smirked and the pink haired dragonslayer.
"What do you mean (Y/N)? I'm always cool!" He smirks right back.
"Aye Sir!" Happy flies through the door looking healthy. Natsu's eyes fill with tears as he runs to hug his best friend. Happy is glad to see you and Lucy too and you all end up in a group hug.
