The Alphas Girl

More danger

 I wake up to the blistering sun shining down at me through the trees, although the thick branches are covering most of it i can still feel the heat coming off of it. I look across to a near by tree and notice two rabbits chasing after each other, they look so peaceful and calm as they playfully nip at each other, if only my life was that simple.

I turn my head and notice i'm still sitting on Jason's lap. Have we been like this all night? i decide to get up and stretch my legs, but then realize Jase's arm wrapped around me, right how am i going to do this without waking him up. I slowly try and lift his arm away from me, but in my weakened state it feels like a ten tun weight, so i decide to just slide out of it. I push my legs forward and use them to drag me across the ground, realize how stupid i look, i decide to just stand up quickly, while Jason turns in his sleep, well that was easy. I quickly stretch before walking over to wear the rabbits were playing, although they have now gone , i spot a small stream down the hill. i look back at Jase who is still soundly asleep and decide to go down to it before he wakes up.

One i reached the stream i gather water in my hands and splash it over my face, its been so long since we've actually showered properly so any chance we get we use to at least try and clean ourselves. once i'm done i decide to take a little walk around to see if i can find any food. i know i should of at least tried to catch them rabbits earlier but the thought of killing anything so cute and precious is beyond me, Jase has always been the one to do that stuff but i guess its time for me to man up and actually help out.

I stop walking and use my wolf senses to listen our for any small animals i can hear, in the distance i can hear scuffling around, i quickly change into my wolf and run to where i heard the sound as i get closer i begin to slow down, as i don't want to scare them off. i see a few rabbits jumping around, i drop my stance so i'm lower to the ground and begin stalking towards my prey, the rabbits unaware of my closeness continue playing around with each other, i decide to go for the biggest one as me and Jase could both eat it and quickly lunge at it. I manage to grab it by the throat with my teeth and bite down hard, snapping its neck, i can taste its blood in my mouth but right now i'm beyond hungry that i don't care. 

I notice all the other rabbits have ran of and hid so i decide to walk back up to wear Jase is sleeping. I know i shouldn't have left his side, especially since he was sleeping, he would go made if anything happened to me, but hey after all i got us something to eat didn't i?

I walk over to Jase stretching out my back legs as i ran back to him to fast. I then begin to nudge him with my nose, when he doesn't wake up i nudge him harder, a little to hard as he falls over on his side and hits his head 'OW what the hell rose' i silently laugh inside my head, ha serves you right you should of woke up the first time, i smile to myself.

I put the rabbit down on the floor and tear it in to two pieces i use my snout to push the bigger side over to him, he looks at me smiles, then once he realizes his smiles drops and he turns to me

'How did you get this, didn't i tell you not to wonder of to far, something couldn't of happened to you'

' well i'm fine, and i caught  us something to eat' i mind link him, he sighs and begins to eat the piece of rabbit i gave to him.

Although it was only a small piece i feel satisfied at the portion i had, i guess my stomach has shrunk a lot, due to the lack of food over the years.

once Jase had shifted into his wolf, we began running into the forest again, as we are running i keep getting this eerie feeling that were being followed, but i just leave it down to the case that i'm paranoid, so i don't tell Jase. we continue running, but i still have that feeling, i turn around and notice three rogues running after us , my heart suddenly begins beating faster as panic laces through me.
