The Alphas Girl

Escape Part 1

Once he had left I let out a long sigh, well my great escape plan went so well I thought to myself. There had to be another way I could get out of here. 'Stop trying to leave mate' my wolfs voice came ringing through my head. 'Shut up, we need to find Jase, he could be in danger' I scold her 'And besides I'm not so sure our mate wants us anyway' As I said this my wolf whined, she obviously wasn't happy about the thought of our mate not wanting us.

I had been sitting here for five minutes thinking of a plan on how i could get past the Alpha, he still hadn't came back from wherever he went, so at least that was a bonus. I hopped up of the bed and walked into the door on my left to find it was an ensuite bathroom. The room was nearly as big as the bedroom, it had a bath in the center of  and a shower in the corner, but that's not what caught my attention. It was the little window in the corner of the room that was open....OPEN!

I ran towards it hoping it wasn't my mind playing tricks on me, but no it was actually open. I put my head out to make sure no one was lurking, but luckily for me no one was. This was great, i was sure i could fit through this window, as long as he didn't come in mid squeezing through and pull me right back, because that could be awkward.

Without wasting any time, I stood on  the ledge and lifted myself up and out of the small window, there was a small ledge on the outside, which made it easier for me to get out without falling straight on my face. I climbed down as far as I could go, when I was nearer the ground I jumped backwards landing straight on my ass.

Ignoring he pain shooting through my butt, I started laughing hysterically like some made woman, i was free! well not exactly yet, still gotta get past the pack border, but that should be a breeze.

I got up and started running away from the huge house that was now behind me, getting smaller and smaller the more I ran.

I had no idea where I was running to, my plan was just to get as far away from that house as possible. Running and not looking where your going is a dangerous combination as as soon as I knew it I had ran straight into something rock hard and hit my head, due to impact, I had tumbled backwards and fell straight to the floor. What did hit a tree? a rock? 

I heard moaning and whining coming from somewhere around me  , what? trees don't moan, do they? 

I lifted my head up of the ground, although my whole body was protesting, and seen a figure lying on the floor, I couldn't quite make out who it was, or even see the person clearly since my eyes were a little blurry since I had hit my head.

A person? Shit i had ran into a person.

The moaning stopped and soon the noise now coming from the figure was laughter. WTH why was she laughing, I could of caused some serious damage to myself, and shes sitting there laughing. Not realizing, the girl had now got up and walked over to me while extending her hand, she offered it to me and helped me up. Once I was up of the ground I wiped myself down getting rid of all the leaves and twigs that had stuck to my clothes.

I looked up to see the girl, she had a mass of blonde hair that she had tied up in a ponytail, although it now was little bits of dirt and twigs entwined with the strands, she had bright blue eyes, slim figure and long legs, all in all she looked as she had walked straight out of some high end fashion magazine.

'Hi I'm Nicole' she said with a beaming smile on her face.

I had now noticed she was wearing, gym clothes and from the sweat dripping from her head i'm guessing she had been on a run.

'I know, I know I look a mess' she said as the started brushing all of the loose twigs out of her hair and of of her body.

'No, no you look fine' I said, instantly feeling awkward since she had caught me starting at her.

'I'm Rose btw' I added 

'Rose, thats such a beautiful name, I'm Nicole, oops have i already said that? Do you know when your name stems from, well it means kind, it originated from Normandy. Although some people just name it after the flower, not that theres anything wrong with that of couse'

I raised an eyebrow at her sudden outburst, she gasped

'Oh I'm sorry in babbling again aren't I, I always seem to do it, I just start talking and then I can never stop and it kind of just carries on for a while until I realize what I'm doing, although by then everyone already things I'm  crazy and then i just feel the urge to talk more to try and explain what i was on about in the first place, then again that never seems to work either'

Realizing she had did it again, she gave me sympathetic eyes, and i just giggled at he quirkiness

'Its okay' I laughed.

she instantly smiled again 'Well that's great, wouldn't wanna scare you' she said with a dramatic look on her face. ' can I ask why you were running so fast though' she asked

'Erm, i was running from someone' i replied quietly

'Running, from who?'

'Just someone I need to get away from' For some reason I didn't feel like she needed to know the whole story ' Do you think you could lead me in the direction of the pack border?' I ask

'The pack border? Why would you want to go there? Your not leaving the pack are you?' she said with an uneasy look on her face.

Well she obviously  doesn't know who I am, which is a good thing, but i still need to get out of this place and find Jase. I decide to lie to her as it probably the only way I could get out.

'No,no I'm just looking for my friend' I declare, her smile resumed on her face and she happily answered my question.

'oh of course, its about 4 miles that way, she pointed behind her, I nodded and thanked her quickly. I had already wasted too much time, my so called mate, had probably realized I've gone by now and is trying to find me.

As I begin to walk off  Nicole speaks 'Would you like some help?'

I give her a confused look 'Finding your friend' She adds.

'No thanks, I'll be okay' I say before turning around and walking in the direction of the pack border, but before I do i see her eyes clouding over meaning shes mind-linking someone.

Crap, crap, crap, It could be them, I begin sprinting through the woods, ignoring the girl shouting after me

'Hey, wait' she shouts

But I don't listen, if she knows that I'm running from her alpha, then she'll just take me straight back there and ill be back were I started.

'Hey rose, stop' She says now running after me.

I cant get caught again, not when I'm so close, not when Jase is out there somewhere.I look back and notice Nicole is gaining up on me, knowing that soon enough she'll catch me and drag me back I decide to change into my wolf. In my wolf form, I'm a a lot faster then Nicole, giving me the advantage of shooting of so shes no longer In sight.

In the distance I can see a few guys standing around and realize they're guarding the pack border. My wolf stops immediately, knowing if i go any further they'll see me and catch me.

A gust of wind flows through the air, and one of the guys lifts his nose in the air and smells deeply, its not long before hes eyes snap to mine and lets out a loud growl.

All the other guards looked and him confusingly, until one by one all eyes are on me.
