Ixal stopped walking, his eyes closed and he narrowed his eyes. "What is the matter Ix-"
The man hushed the disillusioned wizard as he pulled out his blades, throwing it towards the back of the group and a loud blood-curdling scream was heard.
The sound shocked the group as they quickly moved towards where Ixal and Axvel had stood silently.
"What was that?" Sayrim asked breathlessly, as her eyes widened with fear.
"I suspect that was a fog demon." Storm muttered.
"Fog demon?" Xenovix asked.
Before Storm could explain, the mysterious creature emerged from the fog and this terrified and alarmed the group even more.
The creature growled in pain as it pulled out Ixal's blade from its chest and investigated it. It's sharp teeth revealed as it flashed them a frightening smile. "Are you lost, perhaps?" The creature asked, dropping the blade beside its webbed feet, hissing softly while licking its cracked lips.
It's skin was a gruesome pale yellow and it moved languidly towards the group, its scales overlapped on top of another as its muscles flexed.
Storm unsheathed her daggers and pointed it at the creature.
"Do not step another foot near us or I shall slaughter you." She declared bravely.
"Slaughter me? With such a weapon?" It challenged, as it continued to gawk at its prey with interest.
"I believe so. I've slain thousands of your kind, demon." Storm snapped back sternly.
"Your daggers have no affect on me." It remarked, amused as it continued to advance forwards.
Bits of slime trailed behind his feet, causing Storm to cringe with discomfort. The creature was already too unpleasant to look at.
Without another word, Sayrim swung her scythe and slammed it down at the creature but it barely dodged.
"What an annoyance." Axvel frowned, banging his staff onto the floor as azure, coloured burning flames erupted from his staff and danced around on the ground, surprisingly not extinguished by the rain.
"It is raining and our moods are already ruined, do not worsen it, disgraceful demon." Axvel tapped his staff against the ground once more and the flame charged towards the demon, setting it on fire and it shrieked out in pain.
"Stop it, stop it!"
Axvel ignored the loud protests from the creature and let him burn within the ferocious cerulean flames.
"We should leave." Sayrim said, signalling over at the screaming creature at her fellow companions.
"We should." Axvel agreed.
"My magic can not last long in this heavy rain."
After Ixal had slashed the creature at the chest once more with his weapon, he retrieved his other blade, following behind the group, as the creature screamed and wailed in agony.

"That was such a gruesome creature." The fallen angel stated, shivering a little as she hurried to catch up to the fast-walking group.
Axvel nodded his head in agreement.
"It certainly is."
The worried wizard glanced up at the sky once again, checking for any signs of rain.
