"Very pleased to meet you, I am Axvel." The young wizard had introduced himself politely and carefully to Storm's parents while taking a seat beside them.
"What a young wizard, how old are you, Axvel?"
Axvel smiled, "One hundred and eleven."
Flare chuckled, "I take back what I said earlier."
Storm looked over the group and sighed, "My parents may explain about the sword to you."
Xenovix was delighted. "Really? Thank you."
The light blue haired draconian, Deyril, Storm's father smiled at the impatient but fascinated group.
"I shall begin."
The sun was slowly rising and the dark sky was now replaced with a mix of lazy yellow and orange. The morning light illuminated the group's delighted faces as they spoke with vigour.
"Sïlver, it's hidden far away, near the high mountains where even gawkers cannot stay."
Storm's face hardened as gawkers was mentioned. Storm's father, glanced over at his daughter. "What is the matter, Storm?"
Storm sighed, her face softening. "You still don't know about it."
Flare's delighted face vanished quickly as her face fell.
"We do know, Storm, we do..."
Storm closed her eyes and covered her face with her hands, sobbing.
"It's going to be okay, Storm. It is." Flare said, embracing the young draconian gently.
"Do you know where those mountains are?" Sayrim had asked kindly, attempting to change the topic.
"We're afraid not."
The fallen angel sighed in disbelief but nodded anyway.
"Thank you. You were great of a help." Axvel said grinning.
"You are indeed welcome." Deyril replied, nodding, his eyes once again, landed on Xenovix.
"We will be taking our leave then." Flare smiled, waving the group off.
"Before I leave, Xenovix, please have this." Deyril held out a silver ring and inside was a beautiful small crystal, that glimmered in the dying light as it hung as a necklace.
"What? For me? But-" Flare chuckled, "Just take it, young one."
Xenovix hesitated but let it drop into his palm anyway. "Thank you." he bowed slightly at the two, only to be answered back with gentle smiles.
It was Xenovix's first time receiving such a precious gift.
"I apologize for staying for such a time but we need to get back to our village. We have a lot to do, do we not?"
Storm frowned as she watched her parents stand up to leave.
"I need to go back with you." She remarked, surprising and disappointing the travellers that had enjoyed her company.
Flare turned to her daughter and shook her head. "No you are not. Seeing the village again will make you even more saddened, Storm."
The draconian looked down at her feet and nodded bitterly.
"Be safe, Storm." Deyril smiled.
After they casted goodbyes, the two strode off towards the forest and Xenovix looked down at his new necklace. Something was going to happen. He could feel it.
