Chapter 15

~Luna's pov~

I mumbled idiot under my breath before crumpling up the paper and throwing it at Jayden’s face. Bull’s eye! Luke stared at me weirdly before deciding not to pass the note back to me, smart choice. I put my attention back on the clock and watched as the long hand move slowly. Urgh, why was school ever invented?

Tick Tock, Tick Tock. The clock went on and on; I was practically dying inside. Rinnngg! Finally! I jumped out of my seat and rushed to the gym with Jayden and Luke on my tail. We arrived there and were told to go change into the correct gym wear. I made a face and started walking to the girl’s locker room.

“Locker 453. Hmmm.” I said to myself while keeping an eye out for my locker. “Ahh! There it is.” I said eagerly, rushing over to it. I put in my combination and shoved all my stuff inside before getting changed into a pair of track shorts and a white t-shirt. Out from the corner of my eyes I saw a group of cheerleaders staring at me and gossiping. I stared back at them annoyed before asking them, “Do you need something?”

The head cheerleader with brunette waist long hair came up to me before saying, “Uh, yeah bitch. I want you to stay away from Jayden. Guys like him doesn’t belong with girls like you besides, he’s probably just hanging out with you because he feels sorry for you.” She smirked while the rest of the cheerleaders starting laughing.

I shoved her harshly before saying, “Listen here bitch, I just happen to be his girlfriend and might I ask what you are to him? Oh wait nothing. So if I were you, I would shut up and go away because obviously he doesn’t even pay attention to you.” I gave her a “I got it and you don’t” smile before continuing. “Now why don’t you go back to your group and continue gossiping about your fucked up life. Goodbye.” And with that, I walked away with a huge grin on my face. God it felt good to show those girls up. Always thinking they’re better than everyone just because they wear a short skirt that makes them look too easy and a really tight shirt that makes their boobs looks as if they were suffocating.

I walked back into the gym and sat next to Jayden and Luke on the bleachers. I stared off into space as Coach Herr called attendance. “Luna Taylor, Luke Tine, Jayden Mahone, and the rest of the names I haven’t called left side! We’re going to play dodge ball people!”

I gasped as I realized our activity. I looked at Luke and Jayden worriedly. “I’m carrying babies, I can’t risk them being hurt in any way!” I half shouted.

Jayden and Luke passed a worried look before covering me protectively. When a slow ball flew by I turned to the side and let the ball tap me softly before walking over to the bleachers. I sat down and observed the continuous game. The only people who were left were Luke, Jayden and two other guys from the opposite teams. “Go team left!” I shouted happily. Luke threw the ball straight for the other guy and got him in the stomach.

“You’re out!” Coach Herr yelled. I saw the guy’s lips move but I couldn’t make out the word he was saying. Oh well who cares.

“Come on! One more guy left, you can do it!” I shouted, god my emotions are so weird right now; I’m hungry.

Jayden threw a ball up into the air which caused the guy from the other team to look up while Luke threw the ball straight at his stomach.

Coach blows his whistle. “You’re out! Class dismissed.”

“Finally.” I mumbled before rushing to the lockers to get changed. Rinnngg! I put on my clothes quickly before shoving my gym clothes into my locker and locking it. I ran out of the room and ran into Angel. We bumped softly.

“Are you okay?” Angel asked me nicely.

“Yeah, sorry about that. I didn’t see you there.” I apologized.
