Chapter 8

~Jayden's pov~

“What are you doing here?”

“Making food for my soul mate of course, what are you doing here?!” He asked with authority in his voice.

“Daniel. I demand to know where my mate is?!” I spat.

“She is my mate! She should be with me who can take care of her and besides, I bet she’s carrying my child right now.” He smirked.

“You little- I will kill you!” I lunged at him tackling him down to the ground with me. It took him off guard so I had the upper hand for a moment before he knocked me into the table and turned me over so he was winning.

“J..Jay..Jayden?” Her angelic voice ringing in my ears.

I stopped abruptedly and ran over to her pulling her into a giant bear hug. “I missed you so much Luna, let’s go home.”

She stayed quiet for a second as if she needed to tell me a huge secret and was debating with her wolf if she should tell me. After a long minute she sighed and started talking. “Jayden I want you know that me and Daniel..” She looked down and immediately I knew what she was trying to say.

I stared at her in utter belief. “Ho..How could you?”

She gulped. “Daniel’s my mate too.”

I stood up and backed away from her slowly. “But I’m your mate Luna, I marked you! You’re my mate, you can’t be his also!”

She whispered quietly hoping I wouldn’t hear her but of course I did. “But I am.”

I growled with all my might. “I will kill you Daniel! And this time I will make sure you never come back alive again!”

I was ready to lunge when Luna placed an arm around my stomach. “Please don’t fight anymore, I wish you two would just accept the fact that I’m both your mate. Please just do it for me, I need both of you in my life.” Tears started falling down her flawless face.

My heart cracked a little. I pulled her closer and held her tight. My jaw tightened at the next thing I said. “I will try from now on, only for you. I love you Luna.”

Daniel steps closer to us and wraps his arms around Luna too, he then mumbled, “I will try too, for you darling.” His jaw clenched. “We both love you Luna.”

After our little reunion I turned around and faced Daniel. “If we’re going to share her, we might as well both be honest with her and tell her about our little story.”

Daniel turned paler which almost seems impossible. He gulped and looked down at the floor nervously, I wonder what would get him to be like that? He seemed way too confident for something like that to happen.

I sighed. “I guess I’ll tell her, but man, feel free to help me.”

Daniel nodded and stared at me, waiting for my story telling to begin.

I took a deep breath. “It all started when I was around 10. I was wandering through the woods after I had found out that I was half werewolf half vampire. Before you ask any question, I’ll just answer it for you. My mother was a vampire and she was Daniel’s daughter.”

Luna stared at Daniel wide eyed who kept looking down at the floor as if he was ashamed of something. I continued. “Daniel wanted me to mate with his other daughter, Kelsey, so she could give him the most powerfulest grandchild ever. He was power starved and he would do anything to get his hands on me. In our world, when a half breed like me mates with a full breed like you, the child/children born will be the strongest ever. The baby however can be the most evilest or the kindest, it all depends on the who raises them. One day he came to my pack and invaded us, he tried to kill my father but luckily I saved him and stabbed a stake through his cold frozen heart. I could have swore he died, but I guess not.” I said gesturing to Daniel who was about to say something but Luna beat him to it.
