Chapter 7

~Luna’s pov~

I woke up gasping, trying to hold back tears. I blinked furiously looking around the place trying to figure out where I am. I realized I was sitting on something soft, inviting, kind of cold, but warm in some way. I turned my head to get a better look around but only managed to bump heads with something.

“Owww. Luna, your head is like a freaking brick!” Someone said, follow by a groan.

Realization flew and bitch slapped me in the face. I was with Daniel, I was sleeping in his lap! Wide eyed, I jumped out of his lap and stood up abruptly.

I blushed furiously. “Why didn’t you get me off your lap once I fell asleep?”

“You looked so beautiful and comfortable; I couldn’t stand to bother you in any way.” He replied smoothly.

I didn’t reply and started thinking about the dream, tears threatening to escape again. I blinked and closed my eyes hoping it wouldn’t come out.

~Daniel’s pov~

I stared at Luna’s angelic face; it looked as if she was having a hard struggle. She’s trying hard not to cry. What could have caused those tears? I thought worryingly. I walked over to her and sat her back in my lap stroking her back to calm her down.

“Tell me about it darling, I promise I’m a good listener and I hate seeing you in pain. If you want to cry, just cry, let all that out because I will always be here for you when you need a shoulder to cry on.” I whispered feeling her shake a little.

She bursts into tears on my shoulder and I hugged her tighter. I hated seeing her like this, she looked so drained, so empty, so .. dead.

“Talk to me about it, I hate seeing you so hurt over something. Please Luna, let me in.” I begged, worry filling me.

She gulped before beginning.  “I had a dream that you, Jayden, and my parents were slaughtered and..”  She cried softly.

Even thought it took her an hour to tell me about her dream, stopping every now and then to let her calm down, I was happy that she opened up to me. I stroked her face softly, turning her face to face mines.

“I will never leave you.” I said before leaning in to kiss her. The kiss was amazing, her soft plump lips on mines, moving perfectly in sync. Sparks, and fireworks were exploding everywhere in my head. I could never leave her no matter what he said. 

~Luna’s pov~

I managed up the courage to tell Daniel about my horrifying dream. I would stop every now and then to soften my cries. When I finished Daniel said, “I will never leave you.” Before kissing me. I couldn’t stop myself, I didn’t want to. I felt all his love and fireworks were exploding everywhere in my head.

He pulled away and stared lovingly into my eyes. “I love you Luna.” He said with so much love that it terrified me.

“I..I..I.” I stuttered.

“Shh, darling, you don’t need to force yourself to love me. It’s alright, I love you no matter what. Remember that Luna.” He whispered making my heart swell with happiness.

I’m falling for him, I can feel it. I don’t mean to forget about Jayden but tonight, Daniel and me are the only ones. I leaned back in and crushed my lips on his passionately.

He broke the kiss and asked softly, “Do you really want to do this Luna? We can wait, after all we are immortal.”

“I want this more than anything right now.” I whispered and brought his lips back onto mines, moaning as his hands cupped my breast. He took his time, caressing every part of my body as if this was the last time I would ever see him. Soon we were both naked on the floor panting. He slowly spread my legs and entered me. I gasped as I tried to get used to his size, he thrusts softly into me and picked up speed as I moaned more and more. Soon, I was lost in him and he was lost in me. One night, this is our night.

~Morning, Daniel’s pov~

I opened my eyes and blinked furiously trying to get rid of my sleepiness. I noticed someone naked laying in my arms. I stared in awed realizing that it was Luna. Wow, she looked like a goddess, how could anyone ever be so perfect? She stirred a little and opened her eyes with a huge smile on her pretty little face.

“Like what you see?” She teased while moving closer to give me a good morning kiss.

“Like? More like in love.” I replied, happiness bursting inside of me. I pulled her closer and kissed the top of her head. “How was your sleep darling?”

“It was great, I didn’t dream at all. Maybe you’re my remedy to the nightmares.” She giggled. “How was yours?”

“It was just perfect especially since I can wake up to a sleeping beauty like you.” I winked.

She blushed red. “Oh you don’t mean that.”

 I lifted her chin up so she could look at me in the eyes. “Don’t you ever say that, I mean it with all my heart. You are so beautiful, you have no idea what you do to me. I love you Luna, no one else. Just you and you will always be the best thing that ever happened to me so stop doubting my words. I mean everything I say and I would be glad to say it to you every single day for the rest of my life.”

She blushed and turned so red that I thought she was going to become a tomato is she didn’t stop blushing soon. I laughed at her blushing face and earned a slap on the arm.

“Owww.” I whined. “You hurt my arm, now you have to kiss it.” I said trying to act like a kid who just hurt himself.

She giggled at my childless and kissed me on the lips. “Does that make it better little boy? She asked playfully.

She tugged on my arm and asked, “Where’s the bathroom?”

“Oh!” I nearly shouted and pulled her arm dragging her into the house. I should have done this last night, god I’m such an idiot. I brought her to the bathroom and closed the door behind us. “So, I think we should shower together, you know to save water.” I winked at her.

~Luna’s pov~

I blushed when he said that and pushed him out the bathroom. I laughed as I hear him whine a little.

“LOOOSSERRR! Luna: 1 Daniel: 0.” I shouted while I jumped into the warm water. Finally, I can take a shower and relax myself. An hour later, I walked out of the bathroom with a new set of clothes that I found on the bathroom sink. Must be Daniel’s doing, wait it can’t be, I locked him out. Hmmm, THUMP.

I gasped. “Daniel! What happened, what’s going on?”

“ARGH. Get off me you mutt!” I heard Daniel shout in strain. I rushed down and followed the voice which appeared to be leading me to the kitchen. I gasped and my wide eyes got bigger then I could ever think possible.

I stuttered. “J..Jay..Jayden?”

~Jayden’s pov~

I followed my mate’s scent and bond for the past day. It led me to this hole in the ground, why would she be down there? I walked down the hole and kept walking straight until I saw a light in the distance. I ran towards the light at full speed hoping I could see Luna’s angelic face again. I growled at what I saw instead.
