Once Anakin, Padmé, Luke and Leia were back at home, they were chattering about the mission.
"Okay, so we need to confirm this." Anakin said.
"About what?" Luke and Leia asked, not sure what he was talking about. They were joking with Anakin.
"About whether we should help them find out about the Chancellor." Anakin explained.
"Oh..." Luke and Leia said in unison, finally understanding what their father was trying to tell. "And yes, we will help them." they added. They loved being on missions.
Padmé shook her head, with a sigh, knowing that her twins were just playing dumb with Anakin. "You two... Stop playing dumb, your father is serious about this." she scolded.
"Sorry Mum." Luke and Leia apologized.
Anakin raised his hand up as sign that he wanted silence. "Anyways, here's the plan. I will walk into the Chancellor's office and chat with him. Padmé, and you two will sneak in and-" he was cut off by Leia.
"Whoa, Dad. Some plan you've got. Can you explain it further a bit? Like you chatting with Palpatine, is it like a distraction?" Leia asked, doubting her father. She wasn't sure if her father was good at making his plan logic.
"Yes, it is. Anyways, back to the plan, I will chat with Palpatine, while Padmé and you two will look through his papers on his desk.” Anakin continued.
“But how do you know he has papers on his desk?” Leia questioned again.
“Don't doubt me, Leia. I have seen some papers before on his desk.” Anakin pointed out.
“What if he removed them?” Luke asked. He too was unsure if his father was thinking properly.
“Twins! Please don't doubt me! I know what I'm doing!” he sighed, trying to console the worrywarted twins.
Padmé giggled. “I think you need back up. If Palpatine finds us, what will we do?” she asked.
“Not you too! How could you ever doubt me, Padmé?” Anakin sighed again. “If you all think this is a silly plan, why don't you guys think of a plan?” he said, matter-of-factly.
Padmé and the twins grew silent. Anakin had just caught them. Haha... I caught them! Now they know how hard it is to think of a plan. He thought, smirking to himself. "Well, I chat long enough to give you guys time to sneak back out." he added, it was his last bit of his plan.
"I guess we'll have to go with your plan." Luke admitted.
"Well, it's better to have a plan than none at all." Padmé added.
"Count me in!" Leia shouted, hoping no one has forgotten about her.
"Since we're done, let's go back to the Council and tell them." Anakin suggested.
"Okay!" All three of them yelled.
And off they went in Anakin's speeder, going back to the Council.
We're ready. Bring it on!
