A few weeks later, and Ryan and Brendon are nowhere to be seen. I couldn't find Spencer or Jon either.
"Rumor has it they're starting a band." Audrey tells me as she gets dressed to go to yet another party. She acts like we're in college, like we only have responsibilities for certain times of certain days. This is high school, we have class every single day at the same time every morning, but she doesn't think that way.
But that's the only way I could think after what happened with Brendon. I could only focus on school and soccer.
It did get me somewhere, though. I ended up getting a scholarship for Columbia University. And Audrey? God knows where she is. Maybe she became a groupie. Maybe she did end up hooking up with Ryan after. Who am I kidding, she's probably pregnant.
One day after finishing my late classes, I was thinking about calling Ryan, just to catch up. I was way too tired to be thinking straight. But I didn't need to call, I got my answers when I clicked on the TV.
And suddenly, I'm reliving it all over again
