I wake up to a snoring Audrey. I look on my phone to see it's 10 A.M.

You know that sound that a walrus makes? Well if you mix that together with the sound of a spoon in the garbage disposal, you'll get the sound of Audrey's snoring.

I remember Brendon mentioning him working a shift at the coffee shop, and I can always go for some coffee, so why not?

I also remember that Ryan and I have nothing for our project yet, so why not use the time wisely?

'wanna go get some coffee?? we need to figure out something for the project soon.' I text Ryan.

''I'll meet u there in 20?'

'yea that's fine.'

It seems as though every coffee shop has the same colors. Everything is either brown or white. I suppose it has to do with the color of coffee and the cream, but why does that have to determine the color of the building? I don't know, it's always been a thought.

I'm suddenly zoning out thinking of the colors of a damn building. Meanwhile, Ryan's staring at me wonderingly. He waves his hands up and I snap out of it.

"Sorry." I laugh awkwardly.

"It's fine. I already got something because I got here early."

"Okay, I'm gonna get something and I'll meet you at a table." He nods and I walk to the line.

When I get to the front, I first ask about Brendon.

"Brendon? He's in the back right now, I'll tell him you're here, if you want." The girl suggests.

"Uh, yeah, sure. And I'll have a grande green tea." She nods and tells me the price. I pay her and she hands me change.

After a minute of awkwardly standing in line waiting for my drink, she finally hands it to me and I step out to find Ryan at a table.

"So what do we have? Any ideas?"

"Nope. Hopefully the caffeine will do its work soon."

Ryan starts scribbling in his notebook as always.

"You know for someone who's having writer's block, you've got a lot to say in that notebook." He looks up at me and shrugs.

"Well well well, look who's here." I look up to see Brendon with a smile standing next to me. I roll my eyes.

"Hey Ry." Ryan nods in response.

"Well, I just came out to say hi. I gotta get back to work." He nods. He bends down to my level behind the chair and whispers in my ear.

"I'll text you later." He whispers almost flirtatiously. Why does he do this to me? I turn around a whisper to him.

"I'll block you if you use the initial thing." I break the seriousness. He smiles.

"You know it's cool." He whispers back.

"You know what I think is cool? Caller ID." I whisper. He grins and kisses me on the cheek swiftly. My cheeks burn red as he walks away.

"He's so stupid." I say through a smile. Ryan says nothing. He'd already focused back on his notebook as that whole conversation had gone on.

***
I walked back to my dorm after about thirty minutes of sitting around waiting for one us to come up with an idea.

I fucking hate writer's block.

Audrey was awake when I got back.

"A little bird told me you skipped the party on Wednesday to go on a date." She nudges me suggestively. I roll my eyes.

"With Urie, huh?"

"Uh, I guess." I shrug.

"What do you mean "I guess"? You went on a date with him, right? Or was it just a hook up? I didn't know Urie was the hookup type. You don't really look like the hookup type, either. Oh shit, are you pregna-"

"No! It wasn't just a hookup. We didn't have sex. It was just... A date, I guess."

"Okay, little Ms. 'I Guess' " She hold up her fingers to air quote her words. I roll my eyes again. I plop on my bed in exhaustion. And it's only 11 A.M. Guess that tea did nothing.

***

I feel my phone vibrate, jolting me awake from my nap.

'lunch? -B'

'I told u I would block u if you did that'

'u obviously haven't done it yet -B'

'-.-'

'answer the door'

'what'

I hear a knock. Of course. I stand up and open the door only to see none other than Brendon fucking Urie.

Great.

~A/N: Sorry this is so short, I just wanted to get some updates up so I can have more time to write a longer one for each of my stories. I'm trying to keep it up while I get back into the routine of school. And now I have practice every weekday, so I'll be working hardest on weekends to update. Hope you enjoyed.
