"Sophie. Please wake up. We miss you. I miss you."

Andrew? I woke up to the sound of Andrews voice. He sounded very upset. Did he say he missed me? I opened my eyes and I could see him seating on a chair next to me. He was holding my left hand and had his head down. I wanted to speak but I saw him more his head and I immediately closed my eyes again.

"Please. You have to wake up soon. . . I have to go but ill be back tomorrow. I hope you're awake by then."  I heard him stand up and seconds later I felt his lips on my left cheek.

I was so surprised that my eyes opened automatically. He was the first person I saw since the accident. He seemed so sad. He also seemed surprised to see my eyes open.

"Sophie? You're awake."

"I think. Unless this is another dream."

"If it is then I'm having the same dream." he said with the biggest smile.

"So. You missed me huh."

"How long have you been awake."

"A while."

"Let me get the doctor." he said and left the room.

Seconds later a group of people came running into my room. It was my parents, Andrew and Dr. Johnson.

"Oh my god you're awake." said my dad. He seemed like he was about to cry.

"Dad." I said. He came to me and gave me a bear hug but quickly released me.

"I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?" he asked with a worried look.

"No dad I'm ok. But what happened? How's Violet?" I started to get scared right away and the heart monitor started beeping faster.

"She's fine. Nothing happened to her. You saved her." said Dr. Johnson quickly. Thank God. I let out the air that I held in without realizing I was holding it in.

"So the car hit me." it wasn't really a question though. I knew the car had hit me, reason as to why I'm here.

"Yes." Dr. Johnson said.

"How bad?" I asked a bit scared to know the answer. But maybe it wasn't that bad.

"You hit your hear very bad." he said.

I looked around the room and I could see my parents in tears.

"When the ambulance got to you," he paused for a moment and looked at my parents then back at me. "When the ambulance got to you, you were dead."

I was completely shocked. I couldn't speak.

"What do you mean I was dead?" I said with my voice shaking.

"You actually died a couple of times but we brought you back. you hit your head pretty bad and that's how you were in a coma for all this time."

Suddenly I became quiet. How long have I been here? I wanted to ask that question but I wasn't sure if I could handle the answer. It couldn't have been for long. Right? I had to know the answer but what if its too much. Could I be able to handle it. It couldn't have been more than a week or two. Right? I gathered up all my courage and asked my question.

"What day is it today?" They all looked at each other before my dad answered. He almost seemed afraid to say it.

"April 21."
