Hey Sophie!" yelled my friend Tori from across the dance floor.

I had just walked in to the Dance Academy Studio where I’ve been attending since I was 5 Years-Old. Here I met my two best friends Victoria and Alexis, but everyone calls them Tori and Alex. We are the three best hip-hop dancers in the Academy. We’ve been dancing together for 10 years now and we're practically sisters. Everybody calls us the Three Musketeers because we are always seen together.

As I walk towards them I realize that our dance instructor Brandon is not here yet. It seemed weird because he is always here before anyone else.

“Hi girls,” I said while I set my bag down where their bags are and start to stretch with them. “Do you guys know where Brandon is? It’s not like him to not be here in time,” I asked when I was bending down to touch my toes while looking at my friends. “That’s just what I was asking Tori,” said Alex, “I wonder where he is?” Alex is a 5 foot 7 just like me and Tori. Some people say it’s weird that we have similar features. We have the same height, same hazel color eyes, and long brown hair that goes down to our shoulders. We are all pretty, but not popular pretty like some of the girls in our school that wear too much make-up and dress like they're going to parties all the time. We are very strong too, but we don’t have too much muscle that would makes us look weird when we wear dresses or things like that.

Everybody was stretching when suddenly the doors open and Brandon walks in with a smile on his face. He’s a bit taller and only a few years older than us. He has light brown hair and brown eyes. Not to mention handsome too. To bad he has a girlfriend. That crushed some of the girls hearts but as long as they see him they're fine. He walks in with a boy I’ve never seen before. He’s about my height with the same color hair as Brandon but has blue greenish eyes that took my breath away.

“Hello guys,” Brandon says once he’s in the middle of the room with his hands resting on the boy’s shoulders. “This is my cousin Andrew. He’s new to the class but I trust that you guys will make him feel welcome.” He says while looking mostly at all the girls. When I looked closely at them both I found out that they have similar features. They have the same high cheek bones and the same dazzling smile that makes girls melt. “Please don’t scare him girls. It took a lot to get him here.”

Most girls in the room just stared at him while the guys in the back just looked cool. My friends and I don’t really act like that while in dance class. We made a strict rule that while we’re in dance class we will not even think about boys. They only distract us from everything else. I mean sure there are boys in the class but we’re all just friends so we don’t flirt with them like some girls do. But there was something about him that made my heart skip a beat. I tried to ignore it but I found myself lost in his eyes every time he looks at me.

We soon started working on the same routine we were working on last time. Most people needed some work on it but Tori, Alex, and I already knew that routine. We are very fast learners. That’s one of the reasons we're the best in the class. But even though I knew it I couldn’t focus on the moves or the music. That was strange because that has never happened to me before. Every time I dance I only focus on the music and nothing else. But today for some strange reason I couldn‘t. I found myself lost every time I found Andrew looking at me with a grin on his face. My heart started to beat faster than normal. I started to feel a bit dizzy.

“Are you alright Sophie?” asked Alex with concern in her face. “You don’t look so good. Maybe you should sit down.” I let her take me to the back of the room where our bags were and took a water bottle out of my bag. She unscrewed the cap off and handed me the bottle. “Thanks,” I murmured after taking a few sips of water. “I’ll be fine. I'll just rest for a couple of minutes. Go back to practice before Brandon notices you’re gone. I’ll be there in a minute.” I told her. “Are you sure?” she asked me and I nodded. With that she left me and went back to practice. I took a few deep breaths before heading back to the dance floor.

While getting in position I noticed that that Brandon was looking back at me from the mirror with a confused look on his face. Then I notice that Andrew was looking at me too. What was it about Andrew that made me feel different? Why does every time he looks at me I forget what I’m doing? I didn’t know that answer to these questions but I was determined to find out.
