Mondays have to be the worst day of the week. Especially for me because I have an extra class in the morning. It took me twenty minutes to get ready for school. School isn’t that far away from my house. It’s only about a twenty minute walk. I put my earplugs in and listened to the music coming from my Ipod.
Soon I reached Beach Side High School. A couple of students were getting out of their cars when I got there. It’s just like any other school day. The only good thing about today was that I have dance class after school. Dancing can always cheer me up.
My first class seemed long even though it was only an hour long. World History can be boring when you have it at seven in the morning. But I have a decent grade in it. I’m not one of those very smart people that enjoy History. There are about thirty students or so. My teacher can be very funny when it’s a slow day. Believe it or not he can make History a lot more fun than it is for some people. He can make good expressions of Hitler or Marie Antoinette. At first we all thought he was just making fun of them, but when he showed us videos of them from the Discovery Channel we all bursted out laughing. He is a pretty good actor.
Next I had Social Studies. The most boring class in the world. It was full of Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. I was unlucky to have the most annoying guy in school in that class, that made it even worse. He always interrupts the teacher or anybody else that was talking. The teachers that didn’t have him in their class were considered very lucky. Unfortunately I had him in three of my classes. The first three classes I had in the morning. So you can imagine how my mornings are.
In break I made my way to the library to check out a couple of books and return the ones I had already finished. I am a big vampire book fan. And yes, I’ve read and seen the Twilight Saga. The first book was ok but it's not my favorite book. I am currently reading the Vampire Academy series. It is awesome. I really hope that they turn it into a movie.
Most of my time I spend it at the library. After a turned in my books I checked out Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise, and three books from the author Lurlene McDaniel. I started reading her books when I was in eighth grade and so far only two books made me cry. Most of her books are very sad.
I went to visit one of the teachers Mr. Sanchez, the Spanish teacher. I don’t have Spanish this year, but he is the advisor for one of the clubs I’m in. He is a very cool teacher.
“Hey guys,” I said to the Presidents of the club and Mr. Sanchez when I walked into his room. The club is called Among Friends. It’s a club were people from every race can join. So far only our school has it.
“Hey Soph,” They all said.
“How was your weekend?” asked Mr. Sanchez
“It was okay,” I said,
“What?” I asked when I saw the President and Vice President giving me a look. I could never tell them apart because they are twins.
“I see you got all the paint off your face.” one of the twins said and the other laughed.
“What?” asked Mr. Sanchez
“Here let me show you.” the other twin said as he got out his Iphone. He pushed a couple of buttons and then showed it to him. The same video that Carlos took when Aaron threw paint on me.
“Where did you get that video.” I asked as Mr. Sanchez started to laugh.
“It’s on YouTube,” he laughed. “Didn’t you know?”
