I'm kinda putting it here because I don't have a Homestuck book yet. I might make one.
Karkat, Kankri, and The Signless all are all albinos. I see it as Signless is Karkat and Kankri's father and Kankri is Karkat's older brother. They all have different things that they do with their hair and eyes.
The Signless dyes it a natural brown and wears brown eye contacts, he looks the most normal of the family. He has to, he has a job as a teacher and prefers not to answer questions about his natural appearance.
Kankri keeps it all natural with no dye and no contacts. He gets some stares, but if anything is said a LONG lecture will insue. #TW #Check your privilege #I'm happy with myself
Karkat dyes his hair black and can't afford contacts since he's 13 and The Signless will only buy him dye. He is called a demon by his peers and strangers, this usually leads to Karkat shouting "Oh fuck you!" or flipping them off.
I really like this headcanon, geez, it looks like something a good canon writer would write!
