Okay, so if you're one of those people who never get what they want for their birthday, I have a tip for you.
Don't give relatives a huge list of stuff you want, pick one thing that would be in their wheelhouse to them to get you.
If that isn't clear let's say you want
A pair of red sneakers
Anime t-shirts
Books
And some cool art supplies.
Instead of sending your family the WHOLE list do this:
Ask your trendy,cool sister for those red sneakers, she'll know where to get an awesome pair for a good deal.
Ask your anime loving friend for the t shirts, they'll know where to get the best designs and ones that won't rip right away.
Get your nerdy aunt to buy you some books, they'll know good series and authors that you'll probably love.
And lastly, ask your artsy mom to get you those supplies, she's been around the block and can get you some good paints and pencils.
Bravo, you have done it. No more getting random crap, or things you're too old for; because everyone still has that one relative that still thinks you're a baby and gets you a five page "easy reader" on bees.
