Chapter Six

| 2 Weeks later |

S I O N E

The kids were at school and I was home alone. The doctor said I had to stay home for a month before going back to work. I was watching Dope on Netflix when the door opened then shut.

"Babeh!?" Dillyn called out

" I'm in the living room"

Dillyn came in wearing all black, he dropped his body on the couch and put his arm behind me.

I moved closer to him "where did you go?"

"I went to the barbershop, found out they were hella busy so Imma go later"

I nodded and laughed at the scene where Molly started to pee in the streets.

All of a sudden, Dillyn pulled me into his lap.

"Be careful, you know my leg is still fucked up" I said

He moves us into a different position where his back was against the arm of the couch.

Dillyn stared up at me and I looked down, running my hand through his thick hair. I pulled his head back and gently bit his Adam's apple. He let out a groan.

"Des gonna pick up the kids right?"

I nodded and continued putting love bites on his brown skin.

"Good" in a quick movement, he lifted me up and walked upstairs to the bedroom.

"What am I going to do?" I said gripping my curly hair

I stared at the pregnancy test on the floor. I don't know if  Donté was ready for a kid.

"Turn fucking into a habit" Donté sang as he came up the stairs. He came into the bathroom and looked down at me

"Why you on the floor?" He questioned

I stood up and stared at him.

"I'm pregnant"

Donté face went blank and he fell on the floor. For a quick second I stared at the 6'2 body that fainted. Bending over, I slapped his face gently a couple times.

"Donté?"

He didn't respond. So I did what happens in the movies.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a small bowl of water and ice and then walked back up to the bedroom. Donté was still out. Standing a couple inches away from his body, I threw the water and ice on his body and he jumped up.

"Are you ok?" I asked

"Yo, I had the craziest dream. It was you saying that you're pregnant" he shook his head and stood up

"Yo, you know what's crazy?" I said

"What?"

"That dream is true" I stood behind him with my hands to my hips

He quickly turned and faced me. Grabbing my shoulder and stared at my light grey-green eyes

"You joking right? Yo y'all can come out now, I know I'm being punked"

I had the most serious face on. "I'm not joking Donté," I said gently

He took in my facial expression.

"Oh shit, you're pregnant?"

I nodded

"Imma be a father?"
