I stepped out the shower and went to my walk in closet. Picking out a long sleeve grey tee, black ripped jeans and my grey and white roshes. Leaving out my curly hair out, I went to Sage's room to wake her up for school.

Sage's bonnet covered head peeked out from her covers. I gently shook her shoulder and she stirred awake.

"Morning mama," she said rubbing the crust out her eyes.

"Morning baby girl, you gotta get up"

Sage got out her bed and walked to her ensuite bathroom. Everything was at her height, so she had no difficulty reaching for stuff. She grabbed her toothpaste and toothbrush and did her thing.

"I'll be back, I'm going wake your brother up" I said walking across the hall to Stefan's room. I laughed at the position that Stefan was in. He was laying on his back, with his arms out and legs in a awkward way.

"Wake up baby boy" he groaned and rolled over, almost falling over the bed, but I caught him in time.

He started giggling as if it were funny.

"You almost busted your head open little boy"

Dillyn came into the room. "Morning bae" he kissed my cheek and took Stefan out my arms.

"I'll take care of him, go to Sage" I nodded and went back to Sage room where she was fully clothed and dressed in a white t- shirt, light blue pants and moccasins slippers.

"Alright let's tame this bad boy" she sat on the edge of the bed with the box of barrettes. I parted her hair down the middle and gently brushed it out to make a french braids. After that, I secured the ends with white and clear barrettes.

"There you go pretty lady"

"Thanks ma" she got off the bed and grabbed her purple book bag. Going down to the kitchen, where Dillyn was pouring cereal in two bowls. Sage and Stefan sat at the island and ate their cereal.

Dillyn was about to make cereal for me but I shook my head. "I'm not the hungry"

After the kids ate their breakfast, we made our way to my car and got in.

"Kodak mommy, Kodak" Stefan yelled

"Looks like you been around your father a little too much" I said

It took 10 minutes to drop off Stefan at the daycare and then 5 minutes to drop off Sage since her school wasn't far.

"Have a good day at school sweetie"

"Bye mama"

I pulled off and drove to the shop. Stopping at a red light and waited for the light to turn. Once the light turned, I proceed to go but then felt an impact on my side of the car. Glass shattered and cut my face. The impact was so hard to the point my car flipped on the side. I groaned at the pain in my arm and leg.

"MISS ARE YOU OK" someone said

I couldn't move. I felt my eyes slowly closing, then there was darkness.

I sat in the barbershop waiting for Eve to tame my curls.

"Whatchu doing today, shape up or something" Eve said as tossed my hair.

"Imma do those braids"

Eve nodded and went to work.

It took 20 minutes to braid and do a shape up.
