Ch.12: Written Exams

Serena's POV

I was walking towards the Hokage's office as he had called me earlier. "Ah Angel good morning. I suspect that the last two days have been pleasant for you?" he asked with a knowing glint in his eyes.

I stared at him wide eyed as a blush crept onto my face. Hmph! Slick old man watches everything. How embarrassing! "So did you need me for something, Gramps?"

He nodded. "I want you to enter the Chunin exams." I raised an eyebrow at him, but didn't question him "Alright. Will I be with Team 7?"  "Yes. You will but you will take the exams separately. I want you to watch the other gennins."

"Alright, but you have to do me a favour." I stated with a mysterious smirk on my face. My sadistic side had come out. The Hokage gave me a worried look.

" I want to....." Muaha you will not find out now. It will be in a couple of chapters.^^

**Time Skip**

I was now headed towards the meeting spot that Team 7 was going to meet up at. They didn't know I was entering the exams, except Sasuke. Hey I tell him everything now.

I saw them up ahead. "Sorry I'm late! I got lost on the path of life." I stated with a closed eye smile. "What are you doing here, Ser-chan?" Naruto asked. "Heyy! Naru-chan! I've missed you. I'm taking part in the exams." I told him as I tackled him to the ground. I was sitting on his stomach. He laughed and hugged me back.

I could feel a dark aura seeping out of someone. I peeked behind to see Sasuke glaring at Naruto. I sweat dropped and got off of him. I walked over to Sasuke and kissed his cheek. He smirked and wrapped his hand around my waist, pulling me towards him.

Jeez, protective much? Sakura and Naruto stared jaw dropped at us. "Wha-what do you think you're doing Serena!!" Sakura yelled. I raised an eyebrow at her.

"What? I'm standing next to my boyfriend. That's what." she looked at me with a shocked expression. Naruto was still frozen in disbelief.

"Tell me that's not true! Sasuke-kun!" She really didn't believe me? I scoffed. "She' right." that's all he stated and kissed me on the cheek. I blushed bright red.

Naruto snapped out of it fast and narrowed his eyes at Sasuke. He came up and took his collar. "You EVER hurt Serena...I will never forgive you." he growled. I looked at him with surprise. N-Naruto...This is why I loved the knuckle head. He's a brother that will always protect me. I softly smiled.

Sasuke smirked. "I know that dobe." Naruto stiffly nodded. "Alright, how about we go inside now?" Everyone nodded headed inside.

We came to the 'third" floor. "Please let us through we're supposed to go in there!" Tenten pleaded. Before the guy could hit her, I flashed in front and grabbed his arm. "Now now, we don't want to cause any trouble." I stated casually as I let his fist go.

"And just who do you think you are?" they asked me. I rose an eyebrow and scoffed. I grabbed both of their ears and pulled them. "Shouldn't you two be guarding the gate right now...Izumo and Kotetsu? If we get enemy ninja inside, it will be your fault~~" I sang.

Their eyes widened. "And while you're at it. Release the Genjutsu, we're supposed to be going to the third floor." Sasuke came up with Naruto and Sakura.

"What does he mean? We are on the third floor.." "Forget that.. did you see how fast that girl came up and blocked the attack" Murmurs went around in the crowd.

They reversed the Genjusu. "Well well, looks like you saw past the illusion. Now let's see you deal with this!" Kotetsu yelled out ready to kick Sasuke. He also brought out his leg to kick him back.
