Ch.14: The Preliminaries and Healing

Serena's POV

I was heading for the tower now. I had left Team 7 behind about 10 minutes ago. I stopped at the door and walked inside. I look out both Heaven and Earth scroll, opened them up and dropped it to the ground.

POOF! Kakashi appeared in front of me reading his Icha Icha. I don't think he realized he was summoned. I grinned wickedly. I made some hand signs. "Water style: Great Water ball Jutsu!" I spoke in my head. A huge water ball was blasting towards Kakashi from behind. The next thing he knew was the he was on the ground sprawled out with a wet Icha Icha book.

"HAHAHAHA! Oh man that was too great! You're such an idiot oniisan. How do you not realize that you've been summoned." He glared at me and stood up shaking his legs of water.

"Ahem, anyways, I'm sure you already know that you have passed the test. I'm not gonna bother telling you what the scrolls mean since I'm sure you already know." I nodded and waved him off. I went through the doors and came into the stadium. Some of the gennins looked at me while I smirked back. There were only 3 teams including Gaara's. I saw the Hokage and the other Jounins in the front of the giant statue of the jutsu sign. I flashed right by him.

"Gramps. He's here." I told him. He nodded and told me to stay in the front with him. I saw some of the gennins confused to why I was here. I raised an eyebrow at them. "Since we still have a two days remaining, gramps isn' there some shower around here! I mean look at me, I look disgusting! And disgusting is not in my personal dictionary." I informed him with hands on my waist. He and some jounins chuckled.

"Yes Angel. Follow that corridor and you shall come into a room. You can sleep there tonight and rest." I nodded and walked off.

I went into the room. It was basic. On the floor was a white sleeping mat and a table off to the side. The bathroom was a simple three piece washroom. I placed all of my stuff down and went into the bathroom.

I took a  hot shower. I scrubbed myself until all of the dirt was off. I washed my hair with the given shampoo. I came out and dressed in fresh clothing. I dried my hair off with a simple wind jutsu.

I sat down on my sleeping mat and meditated. I put chakra in my necklace and then fell asleep. Kami, keep the others safe for me!

**Time Skip 2 days**

Team 7 had arrived with Kabuto. I glared at him immensely. That jerk. Anyways we were all standing in front of the Hokage as he congratulated us on passing the 2nd part of the exam. Because the number of gennins, we were to have preliminaries. I looked up at all of the jounins, my eyes stopped at the Sound Jounin. Ahh there he is in disguise. I glared at him and he finally looked at me. I smirked at him and his eyes widened in shock from me recognizing him.

The students started yelling and protesting. But the decision was final. The score board started shuffling names.

"Serena Senju vs Kabuto Yakushi" I grinned. Perfect. The students started clearing up. Sasuke walked by me. "Be careful." he whispered. I nodded and kissed his cheek.

"You can do this Ser-chan!! Beat this guy up!" Naruto yelled. "Go Serena!" Sakura yelled. The other gennins started cheering.

"Alright. You may use any weapons *cough cough* I want a clean fight. If someone cannot move anymore or death is scene, the match will be stopped and the winner announced. Any questions?" We both shook our heads. "Then BEGIN!"

I grinned. "Ohh Kabuto, I'm going to have so much fun." I rolled up my sleeves to my elbows. "You don't like me that much do you?" he asked. I laughed. "Of course I don't, and you should know why." He smirked at me.
