Ch.21: The Chase and the Heartbreak

Serena's POV

STUPID STUPID SASUKE! I had to hurry or my friends will die. I kept running for a few minutes, when I saw Choji lying on the ground. I jumped down the tree and started examining him.

His chakra was drained, almost to near death. He had a couple of broken bones. But remembering from the anime, he had taken the three secret pills from the Akimichi Clan. These pills increase chakra but tenfolds. The last one he consumed increased by one hundred folds.

Stupid Choji! Taking a risk like that! I put my hands on his stomach and started supplying him with my chakra. He started groaning a bit. I nodded. That's a good sign.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" I yelled out. "Take choji to the hospital asap. And tell them that he took his Clan pills and he needs Chakra immediately." My clone nodded and left.

I continued on my chase. I have to hurry! Otherwise no one will survive! But wait... aha! I remember the Sand Siblings coming to help them, but not Neji. That's fine, but I still need to heal!

I was running for a couple of minutes before I saw Neji hanging off a thick tree branch. I grabbed his body and laid him down on the ground.

Neji had multiple wounds over his body. The cuts looked like arrows. But not any arrows, chakra arrows. A lot of his chakra points were blocked off, causing more internal bleeding.

I ripped open his shirt. I needed to drain the blood beneath his abdomen fast. I opened my surgical kit and pulled out a needle that was attached to a tube and bottle. I alcohol wiped an area and stuck the needle beneath his muscles.

The tube started sucking up the excess blood and filled up the bottle. I hovered my hands over and healed the damaged muscles within his body.

I applied Senbon needles around his pressure points. A couple on each arm, neck and finally his torso. The senbons unblocked the chakra points. I supplied him with my chakra to get the flow going.

I made another shadow clone. "Take him back and tell the nurses to supply  him with more chakra to get his chakra system up and flowin again."

I didn't have much time anymore. "Shadow Clone jutsu!" I yelled out. 3 clones appeared. "I want you to go to Lee, Shika, and Kiba. Go help them and heal them."

I kept running. Ohh Naruto. I wonder what you're going through right now. I knew he would get anything to bring him back. He was his best friend. Well besides me...

I reached the Final Valley. I saw Naruto lying down on the ground and Sasuke standing off to the side. I walked out into the clearing. It was raining hard, thunder rolling the skies.

"You didn't even say goodbye?" I softly asked him. He snapped his heads towards me. "No." he said. His voice cold, clear of all emotions. " Don't try and stop me."

I knelt down by Naruto and stroked his cheek. "How could you...?" I asked. "HOW COULD YOU!?" I yelled at him.

"Do you think you will get stronger by going to that Snake??" I hissed. "He only wants you for your Sharingan! Why can't you understand that?" I yelled. That did it. I ran to him and chakra kicked him into the waterfall. My kick created a huge crater behind the water.

"You said that you wanted to restore your clan! That means having people you care about and love! Why can't you see all of the people that care about you in the village? Huh?" I yelled as I punched him the face.

"I don't need their emotions. They only get in the way. The people in Konoha only brought me down. They distracted me from my goal. And now, I will finally have the power to get my revenge." he spoke as he turned on his curse mark.
