Ch.13: Forest of Death

Serena's POV

We went back home to rest up for the second part of the exam tomorrow. It will be hectic tomorrow. I decided to get some rest. I meditated for a while, stored chakra in my necklace and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning. I took a long shower so all of my senses could awaken. I dried myself on and put on my ninja clothes: blue shorts and the grey long sleeved half t-shirt. I put on my two necklaces and my bracelet. I put my hair up in a high pony tail, leaving my bangs out.

I went downstairs to get some breakfast. I knew how these exams were going to turn out. I took out a summoning scroll and pack food. Lots of it. Rice balls, ramen cups, fresh fruit and water bottles. I also packed two big blankets. I put everything into the scroll and hung it on my back. I resupplied all of my weapons and especially my medical bag.

**Time skip**

We were standing in front of the Forest of Death as Anko explained that this was the location. Behind us, Konohamaru came within his rock. "That's the worst disguise ever!" Naruto yelled out.

"You saw through my disguise. Your slick boss, just what I would expect from my greatest rival." I laughed and shook my head. Oh my these idiots were just too funny.

BOOM! "Im Moegi, the sexiest Kunoichi in the ninja academy!" "I'm Udon and I love Algebra!" "And I'm Konohamaru, the number one ninja in the village" All three of them yelled out.

I started laughing out loud. They told Naruto how they wanted an exclusive interview with a couple of ninjas. I zoned out of their talking until I felt a tug.

I looked down and saw the three kids. I smiled and crouched down. "Hi there, Kono, Moegi, Udon. How are you?" They smiled at me. "Can we do an interview with you, Serena?" I nodded. "Of course."

I sat down on the grass and they sat down in front of me. "So Serena I hear you full name is Serena Senju." I nodded. "How does it feel to be part of one of the strongest clans in the Leaf Village?" I smiled. "It's great. There were so many things I've learned being a Senju. I'm honored to be the great granddaughter of the 1st Hokage." Their eyes widened. "Woah! So you are the last person we are interviewing today. We asked around the other ninjas from this village and the others. You have been voted to be the number one beautiful and strongest Kunoichi within this exam. How does that feel?" My eyes widened. "Wow! I never thought that. I think that's awesome! I would have to give my thanks to all of the people who voted for me." "We hear you're dating Sasuke Uchiha." I nodded. "That's right. It's been a couple of days since we started going out." Konohamaru growled. "That is so not fair! Don't worry Serena! I won't give up on you. That Sasuke guy is my love rival now!" he yelled.

I looked at him surprised and laughed. "Serena, could you be my role model?" Moegi asked my shyly. "Really? Of course Moegi! That's so sweet." she smiled and blushed.

"Alright wrap up the interviews!" Anko yelled. I smiled at the three. "It seems like it's time for you kiddos to go." They stood up. I knelt down kissed all of their cheeks. "Bye Serena! Good luck!!" I waved.

Sasuke came up behind me. "Looks like you've gotten a love rival from the academy Sasuke." I told him laughing. He started chuckling. "I don't think so. You're mind and mine only."

**Time Skip**

I was standing by my gate alone. This is it. Team 7 was on the other side. On the map shown!^^

The chunin unlocked the door. "Alright you maggots, " I heard. "The second part of the chunin exam has begun!" The doors opened and I rushed inside.

I had the Earth scroll. Now I need to find the heaven scroll. I ran through the trees searching for other ninjas. I jumped on the ground and closed my eyes to feel around for chakra. Aha! There were three chakra signatures about 10 minutes ahead to the Southeast. I nodded to myself and went to that direction.
