Chapter Twenty-Nine:Grand Finale

Suddenly it's Tuesday and I can hardly contain my excitement throughout the entire day. One Direction and I have spent almost the entire weekend today, sure majority of it was spent on finalizing the movie, but it was also loads of fun. Jared and Lena tagged along and even Thomas came with us yesterday when we went out to eat. I feel like I'm literally living the dream, the ultimate fangirl dream.

Now, as the sun begins to set, we've been told that the limo will come along and pick us up in exactly an hour. That means that we have one hour to get ready to go to the craziest night of our lives. Having showered earlier, I get dressed quickly. I choose to wear a One Direction t-shirt that I had been dying to wear this entire time they were here but had to restrain myself from any of their merch since it would freak them out, and pair it with a pair of jean shorts. My custom converse have their names on them and I wear a bunch of Directioner bracelets. I had told myself I was going to not be too overly fangirled out, but I just find myself wanting to wear more and more of the merch. Besides, I'm going to a One Direction concert, I might as well go all out.

Lena borrows a One Direction t-shirt and my paper airplane necklace. I have two of them and decide to let her keep it. She doesn't get that excited over it and says she'll probably just return it afterwards. I don't argue with her.

Jared comes into our room and also borrows one of my shirts. Usually I'd say that it was beyond gay of him to do so, but since he practically can rock anything, I just give him a Niall shirt and he throws it on. Lena had decided to use her second ticket to bring Jared.

There's a knock on the door and I open it. Thomas grins down at me a bit awkwardly. Since Lena had chosen Jared, I chose the only other person I could think of.

"Hey everyone," Thomas greets us and I move over to let him in. Having four people in Lena and my small dorm room is proving to be much more difficult that I would have thought. "You really go all out, Lilah," Thomas says to me, eyeing my outfit.

"Oh shut up, I might as well," I smack his arm playfully and he laughs. That's how it has been these past few days. He says something that makes me laugh and we tease each other. I know there's something between us, and I'm not longer trying to deny it. Harry had pulled me away from everyone last night and told me about the way Thomas looks at me.

"Why don't you and Thomas go out?" Harry asked once we were far enough from the table. I glanced back at everyone laughing, tossing french fries around the table. Thomas looked up at me and then back down once our eyes met.

"I don't know, I just always thought of him as a friend," I answered, surprising myself.

"Well take it from, a guy who's willing to sit at a table with a boyband, a gay guy, and two chicks, should definitely make the cut for boyfriend material." Harry joked with me and gave me that dimpled grin of his.

"I just don't want to ruin our friendship," I told him truthfully. That was the biggest fear for me: ruining something between Thomas and I when I didn't even know what was truly going on.

"But if you don't try, you will never know," Harry pointed out.

"What are you? The romantic guru?" I teased him.

Harry laughed and shook out his curls. "Yeah, you could say that. I just feel bad for the guy. The entire time he's with us, he tries to get your attention and you don't give him any. You're always so set on watching us lads."

I gasped, my eyes widening. Was I that obvious?

"I don't talk much. but that doesn't mean I'm not observant. I can see it, Lilah. And I'm telling you, Thomas has it bad for a certain blonde." He looked at me pointedly and I breathed out,  knowing he was right.
