I'm Fine

"are you really okay Tae?" Jungkook asked, full of sincerity filled in every word as he held his lovers hand, soothing him as they were now sitting on the dining table, Taehyung having his own dinner, again. Lately Jungkook would have dinner by his own with their child accompanying him, since Taehyungs shift got stiffer leaving him no choice but to go home late, he asked for this though, since he needed enough money to support his family. Also, Jungkook still had a child to take care of, making sure that she eats properly, go clean up and sleep early that made him do the same for himself so that he could only give all his attention to her. Leaving the couple even.

But it's fine, after Taehyung is done from work by 7:30 and goes home by 8:00, he knew that Jungkook already tucked Taegeuk in her crib so Taehyung could have Jungkook all by himself, and every night even though they don't eat at the same time, at least Jungkook would always have time to accompany him, listens to his problems at work on how hard it is without seeing them the whole day and how he badly wanted to just cuddle in bed with him and his daughter. Jungkook knew the feeling, because he feels the same way.

Even when he was still having their child and is at conception, whenever Taehyung is at work he couldn't help but feel lonely and drowned, how he missed the olders sweet voice and scent especially his handsome face, Jungkook laughed at the thought and how wonder Taegeuk looked like his father the most, but frowned a little when he remembered their high-school days, they sure are really close to each other, when Taehyung would cut classes just so that he could visit and take care of him when he's at home, sick. They would always have time for each other no matter what. And that leave him wondered "When will that happen again?" he thought, sure before they weren't together, but at least they have time, but now that they are, everything turned out to be the opposite.

But shouldn't he be contended?. He knew it's just him who's over thinking this way, besides Taehyung only said that he's tired from work and how he missed them, and he can give his time every night despite that he's taking care of a child anyway, he's just worried, what if Taehyung still have his other reasons?.

So he assured Taehyung not to hesitate and tell him what is the real problem, besides they're together. But what Jungkook didn't know is that Taehyung had been feeling lonely and a bit left out. he thought he could have Jungkook all by himself during nights, He thought he could have someone be there to comfort him with his stress and problems, that someone will finally understand him no matter how low or high his reasons was. Jungkook told him that he could say anything, but as louder as Taegeuks cries had become, Jungkook was left no choice but to put his child on his first priority, Taehyung understands this, leaving him alone in the dining area with his food left untouched, because no, he wouldn't eat without Jungkook sitting beside him, he hated being alone. So instead of eating his dinner, a glass of alcohol would help him feel relief, keeping everything inside him.

But today was different, they never heard a single whine from their child, or at least yet. Taehyung was in the middle of munching his food as Jungkook patiently waited for his partners reply, and as Taehyung was about to say something, Taegeuks cries was heard that made the younger sighed deeply, he then looked at the older nodding a little, "i'll hurry this time i promise, i'll be back" he just simply nods and watched the youngers back fade, his lips curving into an unpleasant frown before placing his spoon and fork down, waiting.

An hour passed already, as Taehyung counted. Jungkook hasn't come back yet, he sighed and stared at his cold food that wasn't finished, not planning to finish it anymore as he lost his appetite already. He didn't even know why was he acting this way again, he felt so immature about himself, he didn't know why he felt unfair, he didn't know why he wanted his lovers attention even though their child needed it most, he didn't know why he's always like this even before. His co-workers told him that it's normal, and yes it is. That's why he chose to keep everything in inside him. He didn't want to add Jungkooks stress.

And so he sat up and took his plate, washing the dishes before he went upstairs to their childs nursery room. There he saw his daughter and lover already asleep, Taegeuk inside her crib while Jungkook was sitting on the side chair with eyes closed. Just by looking at this makes his heart skip a beat, then it became fast almost hard for him to breathe, he clutched his chest feeling the pain inside his chest again. He breathed carefully and went hus way to his daughter, planting as soft kiss on her forehead "You hardly know daddy huh?, I'm sorry princess, working is not easy you know? Especially when daddy wants his princess to be a real princess. but I promise I'll try giving some of my extra time to you" then he smiled, before carrying Jungkook in his arms proceeding to their bedroom.

As he layed Jungkook on their shared bed, he noticed that the youngers clothes were all sweaty so he got a Plain white T-shirt to change Jungkook, right then as he layed beside him and covered themselves with blankets, Jungkook woke up scrubbing his eyes cutely before his eyes met Taehyungs, "Tae?" he asked, surprised to see that he's at their bedroom already with his clothes already changed.

"You didn't have to" he said and hugged Taehyung close to him.

"I need to" Taehyung answered, as the younger was now buried onto his chest, while he played with Jungkooks hair.

"I'm sorry. Did you finish your food"

"Yes" he lied, because there is no way he'll eat his dinner without Jungkook.

Then his breathing became unormal again, "Tae, what's wrong?" now Jungkook is worried. Taehyung didn't answered as he tried to calm down because. How could he possibly tell him what's wrong if the real problem is himself, how will Jungkook understand if he can't understand his own problems, how?.

So he hugged him closer, before creating a new lie "I'm okay, I'm fine"
