Where are you?

They settled themselves in bed as soon as Taehyung calmed down a little, Jungkooks head is placed on the others chest as he can hear Taehyungs soft heartbeat that made him smile a little, "Do you hear that?" Taehyung mumbled but still clear for Jungkook to hear, the younger Just nod moving closer to Taehyung leaving no space between them, "Do I worry you too much?" Taehyung said and as soon as the younger heard him, he immediately looked at Taehyung in the eye, "I'm sorry if I'm such a big problem to you" the older continued as he locked gazes to his fiance, Jungkook shook his head.

"No, don't say that, you have never been a problem to me, because I care for you, and I love you, always remember that" Jungkook assured and cupped Taehyungs face, using his thumb to sooth Taehyung as the older tried to fight back on his tears, even though Jungkook knows that being too emotional would be bad for him, he still wanted Taehyung to let it all out in front of him, knowing that after this he will be relieved, and at least he knew that he did something to him, so instead of pushing him to do something Taehyung is not sure he's capable of doing, he asked him first "Why can't you do the surgery?".

And with that Taehyung was take aback, but still, he managed to say all of his real thoughts "I want to fight, I want to live longer with you, I want to see Taegeuk grow up and give her a complete and happy family, I want to hear her first words and see her first walk, I want to tie her hair when she goes to her first day of school, punch a guy whoever wants to hurt her, and see her get married and have kids, and even thought she has her own life I will still be able to be with you until we grow old, even though if I can't walk anymore you'll still be there to guide me, even though I already have a lot of wrinkles you'll still find me very attractive, and even though I get too forgetful at every most possible times I still know that you're the only person that I love. I want to do all of them with you and I'm trying to find my strength to fight and not lose on this. But I'm just scared, that if I do the surgery I would be a different person after, that all of my dreams to be with you and Taegeuk will change, that suddenly one day I'm scared to say I love you back because I don't want to hurt you. And I didn't want that to happen."

And Taehyung hugged Jungkook tightly, his chin above the youngers head and his arms securing the other, Taehyung noticed that Jungkook let out a sob as he felt his shirt getting wet, now Jungkook is the one who is crying as Taehyung just sighed not letting him go "But in the end I know I'll still do it anyway...I promise" The older finished as he kissed Jungkook on the forehead, he looked up to Taehyung, before saying his own promises too "and if that happens, I'll do anything to just get you back, I promise"

But it didn't went smoothly as they thought it would be, it had already been one week since Taegeuk catched a fever, Jin said that It's nothing serious especially when a 6 months old started teething, it's a good thing that she's not diagnosed with any serous symptoms that made the couple felt relieved, maybe Taegeuk is just sensitive to the sudden change of weather just like Jungkook, when in the morning it's very hot and at night it suddenly turns very cold, and sometimes rain just pour down without any signs, both Jungkook and Taegeuk find it very frustrating and annoying. Jin suggested that they should look out for Taegeuk more making them re-schedule the wedding date since they wouldn't be able to finish up everything this time.

Right now the two parent are staying inside Taegeuks nursery room on that cold breezy night, it's already midnight when they woke up because of her non stop crying, Jungkook couldn't help but panic, he didn't know what to do anymore now that his mind is full of misery, Taehyung tried to calm him down "kookie don't panic, just calm down...come, give her to me" Taehyung said as Jungkook handed Taegeuk on the olders arms, it's not longer when the baby stopped crying as Taehyung continues to sing her a lullaby, still holding her while his hand is on her head, "I'll just go get some water" Jungkook said in a weak voice, his head felt dizzy and hurt that almost hard for him to keep his balance. Taehyung noticed it and mentioned Jungkook to sit first, telling him that he'll get the water instead before putting Taegeuk back in her crib.

Taehyung went back with a glass of water in his hand, he noticed how pale Jungkook looked as he immediately went to him and touched his forehead using his back hand, "Oh God Jungkook you're burning hot!" Taehyung exclaimed but Jungkook just shook his head, "no, I'm fine. It's Taegeuk we have to worry here" and Taehyung couldn't help but feel more worried, "Just wait here...I'll buy you meds" and as soon as he was about to go, Jungkook stopped him. "no, don't go...it's too dark outside", "I'll be fine, I'll be back soon."

So the older went to get his coat, Jungkook who can't take off his worries followed Taehyung downstairs, but he was too late when the door slammed shut. "Taehyung" and all he remembered was falling into the sofa.

"Taehyung?" darkness lingered the room as if his eyes didn't open. His gaze turned to the side when he heard a light open, he saw Taehyung standing under the light, back facing him as he tried to call for the olders name, but he wouldn't look back.

Soon lights started to on one by one, he didn't recognize the place since it's blurred and his visions were only focused on Taehyung, "Taehyung" ge attempted to walk further but his feet won't let him, "Please don't leave me."

He didn't know how that words came out from his mouth, he wasn't sure of what is happening, all he know is that, he wanted Taehyung to comeback.

The older looked back, a sigh of relief came from Jungkooks mouth when he saw Taehyungs face, but his expression was different, confused and sad as if he wasn't glad of seing the younger. And later on, Taehyung turned around once again, leaving Jungkook there standing alone in the crowd, until Taehyung vanished into the lights.

"You promised"

Was all he said before his eyes shot wide, his heart is beating faster as if the dream he just had was real. He noticed that he was layed on the sofa, he looked at the clock hanging from the wall, 3:45am. He stood up to find Taehyung, but sadly he was nowhere to be found. He opened the main door and the cool breeze welcomed his skin, worried, he waited outside.

"Taehyung, where are you?"
