Percy Jackson / Omega Epsilon 's POV

I threw my book across the dorm, frustrated at the words swimming around the page. This dyslexia that came with being reborn is very idiotic, and I hate it.

"Percy, get some rest. You're going to need it for the field trip tomorrow," Grover, who was sitting on his bed, said with a sigh.

I snapped as he called me my fake name. "You don't understand, mortal. I've never had to deal with this stupid dyslexia before. I'm about ready to kill someone right about now," I snapped, slowly calming down. "Sorry, Grover. I'm just really frustrated at the moment."

Grover stared at me for a moment. "It's okay. Just get some rest, alright?"

I nodded and climbed into bed, not bothering to pick up my book or change.

~Time Skip~

I muttered a curse under my breath as a piece of Nancy Bobofit's sandwich hit the back of Grover's head again.

"I'm going to kill her," I mumbled to Grover, who shook his head.

"Don't," he replied quietly.

I sighed, seeing the bus pull up to the museum. Mr. Brunner, or Chiron, got off first, using the handicap lift.

We walked around the museum, Chiron wheeling around in front while explaining structures.

Chiron turned to us and saw I wasn't paying attention. "Percy, can you explain what is happening here?"

Completely calm, I looked at the structure he was pointing to. Above it, 'Kronos' was inscribed in Ancient Greek.

"Of course. That structure shows Kronos, who was the king of the Titans, eating his children because he was afraid of a prophecy his father, Ouranus, had given him. Kronos ended up being thrown into Tartarus by his son, Zeus, the king of the gods," I explained, calm and collected.

"Right, like our resumes are going to ask about this. 'Who did Kronos eat and why?'" Nancy Bobofit muttered to her friend, who snickered.

"That's enough, Nancy," Chiron scowled at her.

Chiron nodded toward me. "Thank you, Percy. Well, it's time for lunch. Everyone, please go onto the steps outside."

Everyone headed toward the doors, chatting loudly. I was about to go as well, when I was called back by Chiron.

I nodded to Grover. "Go - I'll meet up with you."

Grover looked at me uncertainly, but followed everyone out.

I turned to Chiron. "Yes, Mr. Brunner?"

Chiron looked at me, sighing. "I've always expected you to be better than everyone else. I'm sorry for putting so much pressure on you. It's just-"

"Everything you teach me is important for my future and my life," I interrupted.

Chiron paused. "Yes.... Go ahead and join everyone on the steps."

I nodded and walked to the stairs, where I found Grover feeding a cracker to a bird, away from the rest of the students.

We sat down and talked for a bit before Nancy got bored with stealing from people. She walked over with her gang, smirking.

"Hey, losers," Nancy mocked.

Fortunately for me, the fountain was right next to us - and I can control water....

The water in the fountain swirled and created a hand that grabbed Nancy and pulled her in.

"AH!" Nancy shrieked. "Percy pushed me!"

Mrs. Dodds, the other 'teacher' on the trip, hurried over and pulled Nancy out of the fountain. She turned to me, her eyes glowing gold. "Now, honey... Apologize to Nancy. Now."

I rolled my eyes, scoffing. "Whatever. Sorry, Nancy."

"Mr. Jackson, please follow me," Mrs. Dodds said.

I followed her, glancing back at Grover, who kept glancing between Chiron and I like he wanted Chiron to notice what was happening.

When I turned back to Mrs. Dodds, she was already at the entrance to the museum.

"Hurry, Mr. Jackson," Mrs. Dodds demanded.

I hurried up the stairs, following her into the museum. I finally caught up with her near the Kronos structure.

Mrs. Dodds turned to me. "Where is it? You cannot hide it from us, Perseus!"

Her body formed into the body of a Fury and she leapt at me. I summoned my two swords from my last life and stabbed her, making her shriek and explode into gold dust.

The sword in my left hand was white with black leather as the grip on the handle and was forged with the life of a dying star - it's name was Starlight. The sword in my right hand was black with white leather as the grip on the handle and was forged from the Void - it's name was Havoc. Starlight and Havoc, light and dark, balance and imbalance.

I willed my swords to disappear and walked out to the front of the museum where Chiron had looked up from his book and noticed I was gone. Chuckling, I walked to him and Grover, who was muttering things under his breath next to Chiron.

"Grover, Mr. Brunner, I'm afraid Mrs. Dodds will not be joining us on the rest of the trip. She... went home," I said, trying to hold back a smirk and failing.

Chiron and Grover went pale.

"What do you mean, Percy?" Chiron asked, frowning.

"You'll find out soon," I answered, before walking over to the fountain where Nancy and her gang were.

"I hope Ms. Kerr gave you a detention," Nancy scoffed.

I raised an eyebrow. "Ms. Kerr?"

"Yeah.... Our pre-algebra teacher? Are you high or something?" Nancy replied, raising an eyebrow.

I chuckled. The Mist was already in effect.

Good.
