Percy Jackson / Omega Epsilon 's POV

I was in a state of half dreaming, and half consciousness. My eyes opened, and I knew immediately where I was: my father's throne room, in his dimension.

The said man stood in front of an open window, looking out across fields and hills full of blood-red grass. The sky was a deep purple, the three moons shining brightly down, casting harsh shadows.

A light breeze ruffled my father's black hair, making it even messier than it already was. When he turned, I was surprised to see that his eyes were no longer covered in darkness like they usually were ― the irises were a dark brown, shining in the minimalistic light.

"Omega," he greeted softly.

"Father," I responded. "Why have you called me?"

He sighed. "Please sit," he murmured, sitting down at a small table that appeared out of thin air. When I had followed, he continued, "I'm sorry I didn't call you earlier, it's hard to pull you from sleep when you're dreaming about him ― Alpha, was it? ―, which is basically all the time."

"How is it hard?" I asked, confused. Surely, he had enough power to do so?

But that wasn't the case.

"It reminds me so much of your father and I," he stated, his tone wistful. Void rarely spoke of my other father, the one that gave birth to me, so I knew it hurt him to admit that.

Song Pyungho was Queen Kim Sejung's most trusted advisor. He handled her Majesty's paperwork, planned the annual festivities, and made sure the stocks were always in the right place at the right time. He was so busy, that he didn't have time for a relationship, despite that Queen Sejung constantly insisted he take a vacation, to no avail.

Finally, Queen Sejung had enough. She sent Pyungho to the farthest corner of Pi Segye, to the quietest beach called Pyeonghwa Badasga. She ordered him to just relax, and to actually meet someone that he would want to Mark or mate with.

Pyungho and Void met when Void came to investigate strange electromagnetic waves that the atmosphere was giving off, particularly at Pyeonghwa Badasga. Void, having been known as Hyunki to the vampires, was quick to figure out the problem, which wasn't electromagnetic waves at all; it was the power of Pyungho's loneliness, so strong that it was able to be felt across the entire universe. Void found Pyungho and introduced himself, though he had trouble understanding the other, for Pyungho spoke an old language equivalent to Earth's Korean, a tongue that Void knew very little of.

"Hyunki," Void had said as a way of introduction. "You?"

"Song Pyungho," answered the other man. His eyes, just like mine when my creature instincts kicked in, were blood-red with an inky darkness covering the sclera. His long black hair was usually pulled up into a ponytail, though part of his fringe (which was left out) was a deep red, greatly contrasting with the darkness of the rest of his hair.

"Do you speak Tongue of the Ancients?" Pyungho asked, suddenly switching languages, as he had taken note of the older's struggle.

"Ancient Tongue?" Void responded, surprised. This was the language he was most fluent in, for he was the one that created it, after all. "Yes, of course. I didn't know any non-primordials spoke it."

"I studied it when I was younger," explained the vampire. "So, you are the great Hyunki? I've heard several things about you, all of them good, though no one truly knows you, I hear."

The primordial couldn't help but smile. "Well, I could tell you all about it over a meal, if you would like?"

"That would be lovely," he agreed.
