Percy Jackson / Omega Epsilon 's POV

I sighed as I looked out the window of the car. Sally was currently taking Grover and I to Camp Half-Blood.

"Percy, honey, are you okay?" Sally asked as we sped down the road, going as fast as possible.

I glanced at her and gave a small smile. "I'm fine. Just thinking, is all."

I took at glance at Grover, who was picking at his leg fur, eyes darting around the car and searching the mirrors. He was clearly nervous about the monster chasing us.

After a few moments of silence, a huge bellow rose from behind us. It was the Minotaur, like I had been assuming.

"Percy," Sally started, "there's too much that needs to be explained, but we don't have enough time. You need to get to safety."

I rose an eyebrow, but said nothing. There was no point in asking what she was talking about. I knew exactly what she was saying; Hades had sent monsters after me just as he did to Thalia Grace, Zeus's daughter.

We neared the borders of Half-Blood Hill, when Zeus decided he'd had enough by making our car explode.

I scowled in displeasure and noticed Grover was unconscious.

"Food!" he groaned out.

"Percy," Sally said urgently, "we need to-"

She was cut off my a loud bellow coming from behind us.

"Mom, get out of here! I'll get Grover!" I shouted to be heard over the thunder, grabbing Grover and getting out of the passenger's side, helping Sally out as well.

"We have to get to the tree! Hurry!" she yelled.

We both grabbed Grover and started making our way up the slippery hill, nearly falling a few times.

I could sense the Minotaur was at the car, sniffing it. Soon enough, he let out an angry bellow and picked up the car, throwing it down the road.

"Percy," Sally said, "when he sees us, he'll charge. Wait until the last second, then jump out of the way - directly sideways. He can't change directions very well once he's charging. Understood?"

"I understand," I responded, although I already knew what to do.

The Minotaur started making his way up the hill, letting out a snort of rage. We were almost to Thalia's tree, but I knew that the Minotaur would find us soon enough.

Sally took Grover, throwing him over her shoulder. "Go, Percy! Remember what I said!"

I separated from her and turned, taking note of the Minotaur, who was starting to charge at me, his dark horns aimed straight at my heart. As he thundered forwards, about to strike, I jumped to the side, using my extra strength to help.

The monster stormed past, before bellowing in frustration and turned, but instead toward Sally and Grover.

"Run, Percy!" Sally shouted, retreating down the hill. "I can't go any farther!"

I knew what would happen next. But I couldn't do anything to prevent it; the Fates didn't allow me to mess up everyone else's string of fate around me. As long as I helped them, they allowed me to make my own fate.

Sally struggled in the Minotaur's grip, before choking out one last word: "Go!"

And, with that, she dissolved into a golden form before disappearing.

Newfound strength burned in my stomach, for which I thanked my father, Void, for helping me at the current moment.

Managing to capture the monster's attention, he turned toward me with a snarl. I put my back to Thalia's Tree, getting ready for the idiotic idea that managed to implant itself into my mind.

My body tense, I jumped upwards and turned around in mid-air, landing on the Minotaur's furry neck.

Less than a second later, he rammed into Thalia's Tree, soon trying to shake me off. I willed myself to stay still, so as to not fall off.

"Food!" I heard Grover groan from the grass, the Minotaur turning toward him.

As soon as another wave of strength washed over me, I understood something; not only was my father helping me, but so was my brother, Chaos.

Putting my hands around one of the beast's horn, I pulled slightly. The rough knife-shaped horn snapped off in my hand.

The monster let out a horrific scream and flung me off him, making me land on my back in the grass, not too far away from Grover.

I rolled to the side and onto my knees as the beast came charging at me. Once he had barreled past half-way, I drove his own broken horn into his side.

The Minotaur let out a screech of agony, before he slowly disintegrated into golden dust.

Grabbing Grover, I hurried down Half-Blood Hill, toward the Big House, where I knew Chiron would be. Feeling my family's strength leave me, I became exhausted; I dropped Grover on the old wooden porch of the Big House, collapsing next to him.

Three faces came into view: Chiron, a female blonde (who I presumed to be a daughter of Athena), and a handsome-looking blond male with a scar under his right eye (who, considering the almost etched-on smirk, was most likely a son of Hermes). I hardly heard the daughter of Athena murmur, "He's the one - he has to be."

"Hush, Annabeth. He's still awake," Chiron muttered in reply.

"He's quite cute," the son of mischief hummed, tilting his head slightly, a smirk tugging at his lips.

Unfortunately, that's when I passed out-

-but don't think for a single second that I happened to think the son of Hermes was unattractive. In fact, he was actually pretty cute himself.

But don't tell Void I said that. He'll kill me - again.
