Lucy's POV

I was standing by the request board looking for one for myself.

I thought that I could get one for myself as I know that if I'll go with Team Natsu I will get almost nothing.

I have spotted a pretty good one that said -

Urgent!

Please defeat the monster, it has been terrorizing our town for weeks now and has been kidnapping women.

Reward : 100,000.00 J + Celestial Key

Location : Pamela Town

Requester : Mayor

That's a nice reward for 1 monster!

I didn't question the high reward as I was too enthusiastic about it.

I took it off the board.

I came up to Mira and asked her -

"Mira, why didn't you tell me there was a job with a reward that included a Key?"

"Gomen, Lucy. It came just this morning, I must have forgotten. But what about it?"

"I'm taking it!"

"Are you going with Team Natsu?"

"No, if would go with them I wouldn't be able to pay the landlady, besides it's simple."

I have beamed with confidence and she just smiled at me.

She looked at the request and flashed another closed eyed smile.

"Take care."

She said and went back to drying the cup.

"I'll be fine."

I said giving her a smile myself.

Then I went back to my apartment to pack for the trip.

But what I didn't know that tomorrow would change my life forever, that I will meet a person that would turn my life around.
