"You want me to do what?" I asked Andy, really surprised at what he was suggesting. That was NOT what I was expecting at all from this meeting.

Andy shrugged, "Things have been slow lately and your movie doesn't come out for another two months. I thought if we could get away with this, it'll bring you back a little bit."

I threw my hands up in exasperation, "But I haven't gone anywhere!" I looked to Lissa for help, but she was looking right past me, giving Andy a death stare. I sighed and turned back to my manager, "Look, I just don't see the point Andy. Plus I don't know if I'm ready to try yet."

Andy sighed sadly, purposely trying to make me feel guilty. Stupid Asshole.

"Okay, okay, I'll do it." I agreed finally, making Andy's eye's light up. "I really don't see the point, but I'll try if it makes you happy."

He smiled contently, knowing he'd won yet another one of our many disagreements over my career. I look over and saw Lissa staring at him menacingly as he walked happily out of the room, yelling something about Starbucks.

After he left, Lissa jumped off her seat on a black leather couch and came to sit in a chair beside me.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?" She asked me seriously, "Don't let" -She stopped to hiss his name- "Andrew, pressure you into anything you don't want to do."

I waved her off. "It's no big deal, just a little more to do..."

I could hear her mumble, "Yeah one more thing to add to your already full schedule..."

I rolled my eyes, "Look Lis, if Andy needs me to do it, I'll do it."

Lissa gave me a nervous glance, "Just don't push yourself kay? Me, Andy, your fans; we want a happy, healthy Tessley. Not a stressed-out, overworked Tessley."

"Thanks for the advice, but I promise I'll be careful. I'm even going to take a nap. Are you okay with being alone for a few hours?" Lissa nodded, obviously happy I was going to sleep for a while.

I left the small conference room and wandered the halls of our hotel alone until I found the elevator.

See, we were supposed to be on vacation, just me and Lissa in Australia. Then this morning Andy showed up asking me to do some work stuff while we were here. He held his stupid meeting this morning to basically force me into doing what he wanted.

I looked down at the sheet of paper in my hand.

Studio, September 22nd. 8:30 am.

I smacked my beeping alarm clock.

"Ugh, I hate mornings." I hissed.

I got up and lazily trudged over to my suitcase, pulling out a a pair of high-waisted shorts and a white blouse. I wandered into the living room, surprised to see Lissa sitting there fully dressed and waiting for me.

"Leaving without me?" Lissa asked, eyebrow raised and arms folded neatly across her chest.

"Not at all. I just didn't want to wake you up at such an ungodly hour. Remember last time?" I joked. I couldn't help but smirk at the thought of me having to wake up Lissa with a bucket of water and whipped cream...Okay I'll admit, the whipped cream was just for fun.

She tried to roll her eyes and look mad at me, but I could see the smile playing on my best friends lips. "Shut up and let's go." She mumbled and walked out the door. I grabbed my purse off the couch and ran after her.
