Tessley

I groaned, shoving my fourth small yellow pill of today under my tongue and taking a swig out of the water bottle on my nightstand to wash it down. I was only supposed to take one of these damn things everyday but that wasn't going to happen, not with how beautifully numb these made me to the pain.

It's been a whole month since the accident and I was still constantly in pain. I hadn't exactly established if the pain was coming from the jagged scar running across my stomach; or if it was the whole in my heart that made every breath sharp and suffocating in my lungs.

The pills helped, mostly because I didn't have to care where the pain came from if i didn't feel it.

I flopped down on the bed, reaching for the thick script that I'd thrown across the bed at 4 in the morning. I'd been memorizing lines constantly since I couldn't sleep and I had nothing better to do with my time. Last week I'd auditioned for an animated movie, so I can try voice acting for the first time. It requires me to sing too, which I'm really excited about and so is Andy obviously.

My call back is tomorrow.

Surprisingly  Niall, Louis and Liam auditioned as well. They all have callbacks tomorrow too. Lissa laughed when they told us, going on about the morality of the industry. She claimed they'll only be in the movie so it had important names flashing on the screen, but really, that was every movie today.

Even I was nothing but a big name on a dark screen.

I felt a sharp stab in my temple as I tried to go over my lines again.

"Fuck." I mumbled, throwing the script down and kneading my temples.

I've been so busy lately that there hasn't really been a whole ten minutes without a headache. I've been auditioning for everything possible, living in hotels and a shitty bus, singing every single night and I still have 2 movie premieres coming up that I haven't picked dresses for.

The tour's been so busy and every second I'm not on stage Andy has me practicing lines or writing more music.

I just want to fucking sleep.

That's it.

The good news was that recently we had been getting some bad press for sharing a bus with 5 boys. Which, even though it was unfortunate, Andy organized for Lissa, Carson and i to have our own bus for the remainder of the tour. But with all the hotels recently, it didn't really make a difference. The boys were constantly in Lissa or Carson's room, messing around and having fun.

But not me, I was 'too busy'.

I lay on the bed, my eyes starting to droop when Lissa and Carson burst into my room, Lissa handing  me a cup of coffee which I drank greedily, "Thanks Lis."

"So," Lissa started, moving to sit at the end of the bed. "I was thinking we could go to the mall today, have a girls day?"

I winced, "I don't know Lis, I kind of wanted to go back to sleep. I've been looking forward to this day off for weeks..."

Carson frowned, "But...We were going out to lunch, then we're going shopping."

"Lunch?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. "I haven't even had breakfast."

"It's 2 pm." Lissa pointed out.

"Fine, I'll go." I said with I sigh, "Let me go and shower first though, okay?"

She nodded and I walked into the bathroom that my hotel suite provided. I stripped out of my pyjamas and stepped into the hot water letting in fall in cascades down my back, it felt nice and relaxing. I slowly shampooed my hair and washed my body with my 'Sweet Pea' body wash from Bath and Body Works. I stepped out of the shower and wrapped my body firmly in a towel. I stepped out of the bathroom to go find some clothes. I looked back and shut off the light, running into someone on my way out.
