Tessley

"I can't believe he said that..." Carson muttered, shoving more fries into her already stuffed mouth. "What a jerk."

I shrugged, "Whatever. If he wants to act like a child, I don't care."

"But he's going to be at the trial..."Lissa pointed out, "Unless you don't go. Because technically we could all go and testify and then you wouldn't have to."

"I want to go. I want my Dad to know that I'm not scared of him anymore. I want him to know that he can't hurt me anymore. I just want all this drama to be over; I'm so done with all this bullshit. It's like the cycle from hell."

"Well drama and bullshit is a little hard to avoid," Carson mumbled, taking another bite out of her Big Mac, "Especially when you're Tessley Mason."

I shrugged, "I guess so, but there isn't much I can do about that..."

"Well maybe that's the answer."

"What are you talking about?"

Carson too a deep breath, "Maybe you just need to get away for a while. We're on our way to London, England! We can get a house with the three of us and we can just relax and enjoy ourselves. You can still go in a record for your movie once a week like you promised, but maybe we could all get part-time jobs and just be normal for once."

"Jobs?" I chuckled, "Normal?"

"Well you know what I mean..."

My smile faltered, "I don't know Carrs; I can't even walk down a road without signing a gazillion autographs, never mind getting a job."

Lissa smirked, "You won't have that problem if you look a little different..."

"Are you insinuating a makeover," I raised an eyebrow, "Because as a kid you always made me look like a clown and I don't think now will be any different..."

Carson giggled and Lissa stuck her tongue out at me, "No! Well yes, but not by me!"

"I dunno," I hesitated, "Maybe I should just stay here and work with Donna-"

"Hold on,"Lissa chided, "I seriously think Carson is on to something..."

"Thank you!" Carson huffed and continued her plan. "You do so much and you have a couple movies coming out in a few months. You don't need to stay here and get anymore stressed out then you already are. London is supposed to be beautiful, and I think we could have a really good time. And if you want, forget the makeover, and don't bother getting a part-time job; but at least come with us."

I grinned, "Oh I'm in, no question. But we'll have to come back for the trial."

"You're actually going to the trial?"

I turned to see Liam and the boys standing there watching. Liam looked sad as the rest of the boys left to go get McFlurries...Idiots. Lissa grabbed Carson's hand and left too, leaving Liam to walk over and slide into the booth with me.

I rolled my eyes, "Duh I'm going to trial. I'm done with my father thinking he owns me Li. I'm not the same person I was before; I died. I'm done getting hurt over drama and bullshit. Kinda like this attitude you're giving me actually..."

He slumped his shoulders, "I didn't mean it like that Tess, I'm just worried about you."

"Okay."

"Okay?"

"What do you want me to say...?" I asked, starting to get irritated. "Because if you want me to forgive you, that's not happening right now. I'm moving to another country because I was going to live with my awesome boyfriend and his best mates, and my best friends. And now I'm not even sure what we are anymore."
