Tessley
When the taxi came to a stop, I threw a hundred dollar bill at the driver and jumped out, pulling Liam along behind me. He chuckled at my eagerness and jogged easily behind me. I saw the big warehouse that said Indoor Go-Karting on the front in big light up letters. I walked in to see everyone getting suited up and picking cars.
I ran up to Louis and hugged him tightly, "You waited for me! I love you Sassy-pants!"
"Sassy pants?" He asked incredulously, pulling out of the hug and taking his helmet off. "Seriously? Out of all the kickass nicknames you could have given me, you give me Sassy Pants? That's shit!" He put a hand on his hip and started snapping his fingers in my face. I raised an eyebrow and he walked away muttering something in defeat.
I turned to Liam excitedly, ignoring Louis and I's conversation from moments ago. "Let's go get our stuff on!" I led him to the rack of helmets and he picked one with flames on the side. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a generic blue helmet like the other girls had. He's such a boy.
I jogged over to Carson and Lissa, who were buckling themselves into their cars and rev-ing the engines. "Ready to kick some ass?"
Carson nodded, "Oh definitely. I'm going to show Niall who's the better driver!" I smiled at the eagerness in her answer. She, and everyone else really, have had to listen to Niall talk for hours on end about getting his drivers license last week.
He's a little proud of himself.
Lissa, on the other hand, looked hesitant and worried. "What's up Liss?" I gave her a curious smile. She bit her lip and looked at Harry, "You know what's wrong Tessley." She frowned a little and went to get out of her car.
I pushed her back down and gave her an evil smile, "You can only get better with practice. Good luck, don't kill anyone." I walked to an empty car behind Carson and strapped my self in, ready to take everyone on.
Harry and Carson would be difficult, as their both really good drivers. But Lissa and Louis really wouldn't be a problem seeing as their terrible drivers. The only reason Lissa wouldn't get out of the cart, is because she's obviously afraid she's going to look like an idiot in front of Harry, who can drive really well.
I love her, but she drives like a drunk person.
"Everybody ready?" The man called from his chair, you could tell he was getting impatient because his tone was completely rude.
"Well, yeah but we're stuck here waiting for you to wave the bloody flag." Louis sassed.
I giggled.
The man grunted and waved the flag uninterested and I sped off.
After three rounds, I saw Harry stop over beside Lissa's car, which hadn't moved for the past 15 minutes. I saw them talk a bit, then Lissa turned pink and Harry drove off. I raised an eyebrow, what was that all about? Lissa started to drive slowly and carefully, trying desperately not to hit anything.
"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!" Harry called while laughing from across the track.
She bit her lip and started to drive a little faster, a smile coming to her lips as her hair started to blow around with the speed. She speed right past me and towards Harry. But instead of going past him, she hit his back bumper sending both of them into the wall of rubber tires.
I got out of my car and ran over to them. "Are you both okay?"
Harry nodded, looking a little shaken up, "I'm fine." He turned back to look at Lissa, "You okay Lissa?"
She looked up and had tears in her eyes. "I'm so sorry." She whispered, running out of the cart and out the door of the warehouse.
Harry turned to me with hurt in his eyes, "Did I so something?"
