Blayz's P.O.V.

All night, people kept walking into Hayden's room and smiling at us like crazy. I could hardly sleep next to him without having someone holler at us to 'get it'. It was funny the first few times but then it got really old and kind of annoying. Even his seven-year-old little sister told us to be safe and use protection! Like, what the heck? I thought guys had cooties when I was seven! Kids these days are becoming smarter and more educated...His parents seem really happy that we are together and seem to want us to be fully mated more than we do at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I love being in Hayden's buff arms but we just met and I think it's a little too soon.

After his sister left, we laid next to each other and he started kissing my neck again, love that, and we seemed to be getting to where we left off...when his mom walked in. And guess what she told us??? To be safe and have fun. Seriously?! My parents would flip out if I was making out with a guy in my room without a shirt on. Wow. I think his family is pretty cool, though. I just don't understand the relationship between Hayden and his dad. They seem to really butt heads every time someone tells them something. I want to ask Hayden what that's about but I don't want him to get angry. Once he is angry, it takes a while for him to calm down. I found that out when I woke up this morning to find Hayden not in bed next to me. I walked down the stairs and saw him and his dad yelling at each other about my mates' responsibilities as the next Beta. I've had that talk with my dad a few times and we got into it, also.

I hate seeing my mate mad because I felt it. I don't like when others are mad. When I walked into the kitchen both of them stopped arguing and looked at me. I looked between them and they were really, really angry. It was a little scary to see how angry Hayden was, like he could kill his father any moment. Hayden kept his eyes on me as I walked closer to him and put my hand on his chest to calm him down. What I wasn't expecting was for him to push me away and walk out of the house. That actually hurt to have him push me away like that without saying a word. I knew that I had tears in my eyes and when I looked at David, his expression softened and he hugged me. I still didn't feel better so I got my clothes, since I slept in a shirt of his, and went back to my apartment.

To me, crying is a weakness and I would not show that weakness in front of anyone besides my family and Hayden. I don't know why I was so emotional about that. I guess it's because it felt like he was rejecting me? I have no clue but I hated it. The drive to my apartment was uneventful, stopping when I was supposed to, signalling, all the things that keep you safe. To calm myself down, I took a hot shower for about an hour until the hot water ran out then did my homework. It was Sunday and I had to go to school the next day. I hate school without my sister but soon, I will get her and my family back. I don't care what it takes to get them back and I know that Roselda is on my side but I can't fully trust them. Marcos could be telling them to befriend us, I wasn't sure. I know Roselda loves me like her own child and I trusted her, but the others I didn't fully trust. They seemed to not want to talk to us except for Layla. She seemed to really hate Marcos and his pack as much as I did.

After doing my homework, I got hungry so I headed to the kitchen. Once I reached for the refridgerator, there was a knock on the door and I groaned but went to answer it anyways. What I saw was shocking and also hilarious at the same time. Seven-year-old Lilly was standing outside the door with her hands on her hips and a disapproving look on her face like a mother gives her kid that got in trouble. I got that look a lot when I was younger.

"Hey, Lil-" I started to say but she held her hand up and shushed me. I was stunned. She sure was smart. She walked past me into the living room and stood there. "Come on in. Make yourself at home." She glared at my sarcastic remark and I instantly shut up.

"How could you just leave him like that? You are so dense!" Lilly threw her hands in the air and made me sit down so she could get in my face while she talked. "You should have seen his face when he saw you weren't there! And you left no note telling him where you were or why you left, you douche!" What the-she just called me a douche! Where did she learn these things!

"Well, I-" I started to say but she put her hand on my mouth. Man, she's scary when she's mad.

"He is seriously sad right now, dude! Yeah, him and Daddy got into a fight but so what? They do that all the time! It's what men do! And the women of those men don't just go running away when they get pushed away! Now, I expect your butt to be at my house in an hour! If you are a second late, there will be consequences. Got it?" she said and I nodded, scared out of my mind. Just imagine a small, little girl with her hands placed on her hips giving you a lecture and pretty much acting like an adult that is scolding you for something. Scary, right? The whole time she was yelling at me, her eyes would change colors and her face would get a little more red with each word. By the time she was done yelling, she looked like a tomato with dark brown hair and creepy looking eyes glaring at you. Gives me the shivers. She was crazy! She walked out of my apartment satisfied and once I heard the door slam shut I realized that I didn't know how she even got here. When I looked out of the door, I saw her just disappear. What the-that was awesome! I want to be able to do that! Wait, how did she do that?

While I was getting ready to go to their house, I couldn't stop thinking about how she just disappeared. I'm going to have a little talk with her when I get to their house. I looked through my closet and decided I didn't feel like dressing up so I grabbed some baggy pants and my soccer shirt and Nike's and after changing into them I saw I had twenty minutes to be there so I got in my truck and drove there, contemplating what was going to happen. There were a ton of guys hanging outside Hayden's house and they all turned to look at me as  pulled up outside. I got out of my truck nervously and started walking to the house but when I was twenty yards away, I felt arms wrap around me, hugging me tightly. I looked up and saw Hayden looking back at me with watery eyes.

"I'm sorry, babe," he told me. "My anger got the best of me and when I walked out my wolf was scolding me about pushing you away. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm so sorry." I didn't know what to say so I grabbed hold of his face and smashed my lips on his. In the background all the guys started hooting and hollering at us to get a room but their voices faded and all I could focus on was my mate who I loved. Yes, I love him. It may have only been a few days, but in those few days I found out what a wonderful guy he was and I fell in love with him. We pulled away breathing hard and smiled at each other.

"I love you," we said at the same time and our eyes widened and we smiled at the same time. Hayden picked me up and twirled me around, making me laugh. When he put me down, I saw his sister just appear there and I was shocked.

"Finally..." she told us, rolling her eyes. "You both are so dense. I even saw how much you loved each other but you two were too dorky to realize it. That's why I told you to come back here, Blayz."

"I thought Mom said no transporting, Lil," Hayden said, trying to look mad but couldn't keep the smile off his face.

"Did she find out? I don't think so! And you better not tell her or else I'll tell your little mate all your secrets," Lilly said smugly. Wow, she's like a litle sneak.

"You wouldn't." Hayden said, glaring at her.

"Oh, yes I would, big bro. I may be seven but I understand things no kids my age do," she told him and I tried so hard not to laugh. She so got him good. I need to learn a few tricks from her. I'm sure she would teach me, hopefully.

"You're evil," Hayden whined looking like a little boy.

"And yet, you aren't used to it," Lilly said and walked away. I rubbed Hayden's back and kissed his cheek.

"Don't worry, I'm sure it wasn't anything too embarrassing," I told him and his mom walked up to us smiling widely.

"Actually, it was," she said and began to tell me stories that made me laugh. This family was great.
