More hiding.

Peridot's POV

I got home and got greeted by a sleeping Lapis. She's laying on a huge pillow and curled up liked a ball. Cute.
I went downstairs to keep all of the decorations and hid the blue present somewhere Lapis couldn't find it.

The freezer. Wait, what? Oh well, I'll hide it in a better place later.

When I was finished, I decided to change my clothing. So I went to the bedroom to get some clothes when Lapis bumped into me.

Weird. She was asleep a while ago.

"Oh, Lapis! You're awake." I said, smiling.

We chatted for a while until I remembered why I was here.

"Heh, anyways. I gotta get some clothes in the closet. Hold on." I said, walking to the closet.

She walked in front of me. Keeping me from the closet.

"Uh, d-do you mind if I get it for you?" She said. Huh?
"Nah, I can get it myself." I said, walking past her.
"N-no! I insist." She said, walking in front of me again. Weird. It's as if she's hiding something.
"Well... I do have some things to do... Okay, I'll be downstairs if you need me." I said, walking outside but staying by the door.

Weird. She's rushing her movements.

As I heard her footsteps nearing the door, I practically jumped off the staircase and ran inside the bathroom.

"Peridot?" I heard her say.
"In here!" I said aloud.
"Umm, Peridot. I got your clothes." She said.

I opened the door to get my clothes and closed it to change.

After changing, I went outside and thanked her.

"Umm, I'm gonna get some juice in the freezer. Want some?" She said.

Oh No.

"Ehm, I'll go get it." I said.
"Nah, I have hands. I'll get it." She said.
"Uh, You already brought me my clothes. I'm gonna return the favor. So just sit there and I'll go get the juice." I said.
"Um, Okay?" She said, sitting on the sofa.

I went inside the kitchen and opened the freezer.
I immediately hid the gift inside the kitchen drawer and got some juice.
