I got out of the mall holding a pellet machine gun I got from the arcade. 

It was 8 pm when I got out. 

I found my car and started driving. 

I was at the middle of driving when my phone suddenly vibrated. 

Good thing the traffic light was red. 

I looked at my phone and found an unknown number calling. 

Who would call at this hour? 

I answered the call and held the phone to my ear. 

"Hello?" I said. 

I heard murmurs and something fell on the floor. 

"Peridot!" A voice said. 

That voice sound familiar. 

Wait. Lapis?! 

"Lapis? Is that you?" I said. 

"Peridot! Get out of your car! There's a-mmph!" I heard her say with a panicked voice. 

"Woah! You little brat! You almost spoiled the surprise!" An oddly familiar voice said. 

"Lapis?! Who are you?! Don't you dare hurt her!" I yelled. 

"Hey. Calm down, geez. I just wanted to give you something special." The voice said. 

I heard a few punches and kicks. 

"Hey-!" The voice said. 

"Peridot! A bomb! There's a bomb in your car!" Lapis said. 

As soon as she said that, I opened the door. But heard something else... 

"Bye Bye. Peridot." The voice said. 

BOOM. 

TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING. 

My ears rang. 

I was about to lose conscious when I heard Lapis on the phone. 

"Peridot?" She said. 

"Peridot!" She said. 

A few sniffs could be heard. 

"I love you...."
