Chapter 5: Buzzer

****Liam's POV****

We were taking a break from rehearsal when I decided to check my phone. I hadnt told the rest of the boys about Jess because I wasnt sure about it yet. I had a couple of messages but one stood out to me more than the others because I didnt know the number.

FROM: 555-0197

Hey Liam.. Its Jess. I know you heard my name yelled today and I need to talk to you. Please dont tell any of the boys that I'm here... Atleast not yet. I dont think I'm ready for that. Please?

I probably read the text about 10 times. Then I replied.

TO: 555-0197

I understand love. It's insane to hear from you. Dont worry I wont tell them.

Sent.

****Jess' POV****

I was sitting on my couch eating some krave cereal when my phone went off. I prayed that it was Liam. I worried about whether or not he changed his number.

FROM: LiLi(:

I understand love. It's insane to hear from you. Dont worry I wont tell them.

I let out a sigh of relief. I was so excited to that he was being so damn understanding about this entire thing. He was such a sweetheart. Suddenly I missed all of the boys. I missed them more than usual that it sort of tore me. I just wanted to see all of them already but I was scared.

TO: LiLi(:

Thankyou soooo much LiLi! Can we please meet up somewhere and talk? Please?

FROM: LiLi(:

Of course. We might have to do it late at night though.. When the boys are alseep so they dont think much of it. Is that okay with you?

That little genius!

TO: LiLi(:

Yes thats perfect! Text me or call me when and I'll meet you anywhere.

FROM: LiLi(:

:) okay love. Ill talk to you soon.x

I smiled to myself and put my phone down. I was so excited about this. It was gonna be great to hug Liam again. I just hoped the boys went to bed on time.

It was around 1 in the morning and I was slowly dosing off in front of my tv. I was watching Just Like Heaven. Its such a good movie. I had been dodging Jake all day, for some reason. It was weird. I really liked Jake but ever since the fiasco that accured today, I didnt want to have to explain anything to him. I just told him that I was at work all day and that I was gonna crash any minute. He understood and said his very sweet goodnight with 3 smiley faces and 2 hearts.

DING.DING.

I shot up as quick as I could and tried to find my phone which was somewhere underneath me.

FROM: LiLi(:

Hello love :) The boys are asleep. Where did you want to meet?

TO: LiLi(: Wanna come to my place? Its on 7th hill and wilshure 5441. You can buzz in from the PO box down stairs. Just press number 7. Thats my apartment number.

FROM: LiLi(:

That works. I should be there in 10 minutes or so.

I started to get nervous. It had been a while since I had seen any of the boys. I've changed a lot since any of them last saw me. Not just physically either. I didn't know how to approach Liam. I always wondered if they were angry with me or not. I was always too scared to think about it.

I got up and made some tea for Liam like I used to back in the day. It brought back so many memories for me. What a day it turned out to be.

Before I knew it, my buzzer went off. I got up and clicked the the open door button and I waited by the door like a frivolous crazy person. But then I heard the knock.

Knock knock knock.

I shook off my doubts and insecurities and opened the door. "Hey Liam." I said smiling.

He stared at me blankly and then a smile appeared on his face.

I couldn't help but smile myself.
