On the road to the place

Where the Will of Fire burns bright

A girl with an unfortunate fate

Stops and turns to look behind

She remembers all that has happened

And all that is to come

She remembers all that she has gained

And all that she lost from the where she came from

And be it a act

Of irony

Or of fun

The rain fell down

And the tears, they run

She cried yet again

She cried for the friend

The one who was killed

By whom, it is unknown until then

She struggles to to stand tall

Knowing that its not possible

It's known that she's bound to stumble and fall

She has a frail, weak, soul after all

And if this is her fate

To be all alone and afraid

Then so be it

Let her end in this sorry state

But faces come to mind

Just as she decides

Wouldn't it be better if I were gone?

I'm just a burden, after all

But she yearns

She yearns for love

But she aches

She aches for a hug

And so she gives a little hop

Another step and then a pop

She slides her foot in the mud

Kicks the puddle her foot was on

Soon she she's twirling

Dancing with her whole being

Sadness overwhelms

And the shinobi, they can tell

Sobs cause her shoulders to quake

The medic feels the guilt overtake

Had she known the Puppet Master

Meant so must to the woman dancing

She probably wouldnt've tried so hard

To beat the man dead to the ground

And the guilt

It eats at them

'Had she been there..'

'If only she had known this...'

So the Rain-Dancer weeps

Voice cracking as she sings

She hopes that her teacher is at ease

She hopes that her friend's soul is at peace

"Let the rain

Take my pain

Let the hurt

Become burnt

Like the burning flame

Of all I am to blame

Let the earth shake

Let the heavens

Accept my friend today

Let them know the truth below

My teacher is not a criminal

My teacher may be a little warped, yet good."

And the rain, it fell down

And the Rain-Dancer twirled around

Loosing herself in the dance

Forgetting that she had an audience

And so we wait

For the Rain-Dancer to take a break

And for the truth to be revealed

And for the Rain-Dancer to hear
