I walked around the house trying to get to the car as I felt and saw the car jump off of the ground. Then my neighbors cars doing the same making the alarms go off. I felt more shakes of the ground as I ran back inside for Scott. As I placed him in the passenger seat of the car and spend backwards out of the driveway.
I buckled myself in tight after seeing a palm tree fly right over my car as I speeded down the street getting cut off by a school bus tipping over into a apartment building.
I drove down the street watching just watching everyone and everything be torn down, ripped out of the ground.
I finally reached San Francisco California in hopes of finding her but when I reached the border my hopes crumbled and died inside of me at the sight of the city barely standing.
I reached the clothing store Na'tasha last called from not believing my own eyes.
The store was nothing but rubble. As I got out the car leaving Scott in the car as he watched from a distance.
I stood there discouraged by the sight death all around me until I heard a loud long metal groan. I turned around slowly looking up to see a skyscraper slowly then gradually falling and collapsing down towards me and Scott.
I watched stepping backwards then remembered that Scott was in the car as the building fell faster.
I ran as fast as I could to the car to retrieve Scott.
"Come on boy get out of the damn car come to me please"!!
He looked at me and swatted his paws at me as if I was joking as I reached to grab him as he hissed at me then scratched me on my face and hands.
I reached for him again as he ran out of the car down the street towards the falling building as I ran the opposite direction into another building.
I jumped into the doors of the Starbucks shop and a loud thunderous boom from the falling building made a shockwave of air blow me further into the building knocking me off my feet.
A few short moments later I felt my phone vibrating. I slowly reached for my phone then rose to my feet instantly.
It was her texting me with the message saying "Clarence are u there it's me Na'tasha, I'm fine where are you"?
I responded back to her text "Yes babe I'm here I'm in San Francisco where are you "?
" I'm in NY city" she texted back.
