It has been two and a half years since I have seen or heard from Na'tasha, the last message I got from her was through a radio in the second refuge in Miami Beach, Florida.
I saw nothing but darkness all around me filled with roars of laughter as I heard them get louder and louder until I was awaken by Nicole.
"Come on hey wake up Clarence please!!?" she yelled to me while shaking my head, giggling with excitement as I peeked my eyes open at her.
I slowly risen up from my bed lifting her with me up high laughing before saying "Alright alright I'm up silly girl jeez, now where is your parents, more importantly your mother?" I asked while sniffing the air to fresh sausage cooking in the farm house's kitchen.
She laughed lower than softer as I began to tickle her repeating my question as she hopped down from the bed pulling me out the room by my pants sleeve heading downstairs.
She lead me to the kitchen to Destiny sitting on the counter playing "The most beautiful moment in life Part 1" on her CD player watching the eggs sizzle on the stove.
I knocked on the wall as Nicole rushed to Destiny's legs squealing "Mommy I woke uncle Clarence up, now can I have a Oreo now?" she said screaming to the rooftops.
Destiny glanced down at her smiling handing her the whole pack of Oreos, as Nicole tan away giggling.
"So hows this mom life treating you Destiny?" I asked while eating my sausage and eggs.
"Well it's not so bad, I get attention twenty four seven now the thing I've always wanted so I guess in other words it's awesome, how'd you sleep?" she asked while turning off the electric stove.
"Why thank you for asking, but I never slept any better than I did last night what about you?" I asked as she gave me a angry look before speaking.
"I have a two year old daughter now and your going to sit there and ask me how do I sleep at night, your full of Clarence your really full of it" she said while sitting down in front of me.
I sat there taking everything that she said all in taking it as a "no I didn't get to sleep at all last night.
I finished having a awesome yet hilarious conversation with Destiny while eating my breakfast.
Roland comes into the house yelling for Destiny " Destiny bae where are you?!" he yelled as Destiny looked at me saying "Then there's this man, Bae I'm in the kitchen with Clarence!" she yelled as he walked to the kitchen with heavy footsteps.
He sees me about to speak as Nicole tackles me out of my chair.
"Whoa Niki wait!" I shouted before falling backwards breaking the chair.
I catch her while laying on the floor, looking at her bouncing on my chest.
"I got you Clarence, I finally got you!!". She yelled at me while hugging my head. As I looked at Destiny and then at Nicole with a lost expression on my face.
"Niki sweety who's your daddy, I mean your real daddy?" I asked her with curiosity in my voice.
She looked at me with her smile going away before pointing at Roland saying " That's my real daddy but mommy told me you were supposed to be my daddy and-" she got her mouth covered by Destiny with her saying "There Clarence you got your answer, now go and get dressed and you can help me with some house work around here" she said ordering Nicole to go play with her toys.
I released Niki as she ran upstairs doing as she was told, as I went to get dressed in some clothes I found in the bedroom closet before heading back downstairs to Destiny as she stared at me biting her lips.
"Damn for a city boy u make those overalls look pretty good, but we can talk about that later for now we have lots of house work to do so let's get a move on" she said while walking outside as I shrugged and then blushed at the compliment then followed her outside.
