I woke up to my alarm. Another boring Thursday awaits. I reached over Olivia to turn off my alarm clock and turn on my iPod. I flipped through my songs and stopped on Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars. I sang along while I pulled on my Ghost Labs shirt and skinny jeans. I saw Olivia's eyes open and she sat up slowly, rubbing her eyes.
"Wake up babe, we gotta go to school today," I said, sliding into my Etnies.
"I don't want to," she said.
"Nobody's gonna do anything to you, I promise," I said, smiling at her.
I walked in the kitchen and made toaster waffles while she got dressed and after we both ate, I got my housekey and locked the door.
I got my phone out and texted Lily that Olivia and I would be at school today. She texted back a smiley and I felt a sudden yanking on my arm and it was Olivia pulling me out of the road. I guess I stopped walking and didn't realize it.
"Don't do that again!" Olivia scolded me.
"I swear I didn't realize I had stopped walking!" I said half smiling.
"Whatever..." Olivia said, hugging me.
I chuckled and waved to Kayla who was now on her way to the bus stop. We all talked until we got on the bus. Olivia and I sat together and when I looked around the bus, I stopped and stared at the girl in the back. It was my friend Adalynn Jones from elementary school.
"Hi Adalynn!!" I yelled.
She looked around confused, and when she saw me her face lit up.
"Oh my God Alex!!" She yelled back.
"Meet me at lunch!" I yelled to her.
"Okay!"
I turned back around and Olivia leaned over on my shoulder. I took her hand in mine and snuggled with her until we got to school.
We got to school and Olivia and I walked up to the front doors hand in hand. Adalynn caught up with is and walked in with us.
"So what brings you back here Adalynn? I thought you moved to Cali with your parents," I asked excitedly.
"I did," she said plainly. "I was adjusting really well and after a few years my grades went really far south and I was really down and not myself, so they sent me here to live with my uncle. They figured i needed to see snow, so here I am!" She finished with a grin.
"Well it's good to see you again," I said. "And this beautiful young lady right here is Olivia, my girlfriend. Long story short, she helped me figure out that I'm bisexual, but I don't think I'll be dating anyone other than Olivia for quite some time," I said, smiling at Olivia. I stuck my tongue out at her and squeezed her hand playfully.
"It's nice to meet you," Adalynn said, extending a hand.
"It's nice to meet you too," Olivia said, shaking Adalynn's hand.
Olivia, Adalynn, and I walked to first period. Olivia went to walk to her first period, and I pulled her back to me, wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her just close enough for our bodies to touch.
"I don't get a kiss?" I said, pouting.
"Of course you do," she said, kissing my chin.
"You're such a tease," I joked.
"I know I am, but that's why I'm so sexy," she smirked.
"Yes, yes you are. Behave yourself; I'll see you in second period babe," I said, winking at her. She walked into her first period and I turned to Adalynn, holding my hand out.
