There are these occasional nights were I feel tired but can't sleep,just like tonight, were all I do Is lay on my back and just listen to the humming of my ceiling fan go around and around.
Not much harm is done until this happens 5 time a week, were I'm barely functioning with 3 hours of sleep.
I was diagnose with insomnia, I didn't have to go to the doctors to figure out what was wrong with me, i could already tell from the lack of sleep, so I goggle it.
Insomnia:
Persistent problems falling and staying asleep.
Usually self-diagnosable
Symptoms may include difficulty falling or staying asleep and not feeling well-rested.
But here's the problem
Can't be cured, but treatment may help
Treatment for insomnia consists of improving sleep habits, behavior therapy, and identifying and treating underlying causes. Sleeping pills may also be used, but should be monitored for side effects.
Out of this I still can only read the first three word can't be cured
Sure there are treatments but I don't want to take multiple pills to just get at least 6 hours of sleep.
The sad part about this, is insomnia is,

Most cases of insomnia are related to poor sleep habits, depression, anxiety, lack of exercise, chronic illness, or certain medications.
I may have insomnia but I know I'm not alone.
