Chapter 6
"Omg omg omg omg. I can't do this. Nope. I'm not doing it. Forget it. What if he doesn't like me in real life? What if he thinks I'm ugly? What if-" As you might know by now, I'm about to shit my pants. It's the day of the concert and I'm so nervous to meet him. My head is twisting and turning with pros and cons for meeting him. Pro: he wouldn't change his opinion about me. Con: He could hate me and get me thrown out. Of course there's more Cons than Pros. You can always think about the bad things easier than the good things.
"Sky, you have to do it! You can't just back out now." Caleb says. I really should get some girl friends now that I think about it. Oh well. Caleb has been trying to get me ready for tonight but nothing has worked. Surprisingly, I haven't had a panic attack yet.
"I know, I know. I'm just nervous I guess." I sigh. I know that I have to go and I really want to. Of course I'll go, it'll crush Luke and the boys if I don't.
"Skylar!" Caleb yells, snapping his fingers in front of me. I look at him confused, "I was talking to you, you know?" He asks looking at me amused.
"What?"
"I said, if you don't get ready now, you'll miss the concert!" I look at the clock. 4:55 pm. The concert starts at 7 and it takes at least an hour to drive and get a parked. Shit, I have to hurry.
I run up the stairs to my room and slam the door shut. I turn on my straightener so it can warm up 'till I've found my clothes. I run to my closet, yes my room is so big that I have to run around, and find black skinny jeans, a white V-neck t-shirt, denim jacket and my bordeaux red Vans. I hear my straightener beep which means that it's ready. I quickly straighten it, shaking it a bit 'till I'm satisfied with my look. I then put on a bit of concealer just to cover the worst, a bit of powder to set it, eyeliner and mascara. When it looks natural enough, I smile and look at the clock. 5:47, I have to go right now! I pick up my bag which contains the tickets, water, a power bank (Just in case), my wallet and now my phone. I run downstairs, picking up my car keys and kiss Caleb on the cheek.
"I'll see you later. Text me if anything happens or if you stay longer. Don't have sex with any of them because you don't know them, they could be rapists or-" He rambles.
"Okay, stop. I know, I'll text you when I get there and before I drive back, happy?"
"Of course. Have a great concert. Now go! Or else you'll be late!" He says grinning.
"Wow, first you keep my back by talking and now you practically throw me out. Gee, thanks" I say, rolling my eyes, jokingly.
"Drive safe." He yells as I step out the door.
The drive to the venue consists of loud music and sing along. The traffic is hell when I get closer to the place and it's freaking hard to get a parking spot without it being far away. I finally find a spot close enough to the venue and step out of the car. The doors are already open so there isn't any long queues. I quickly find a shop, where they sell merch, and buy a cap, some bracelets and a poster for them to sign. I know, that I know them and I actually don't need a poster, but just to be like the other fans.
I look at my watch and see that it's 6:54. I really have to hurry to get to my seat in time. I quickly push through the crowd of screaming teenage girls and finally find my spot as the lights starts to fade. The only thing you can hear is thousands of girl, screaming and waiting for their idols. I'm standing in the front row, on Calum's side. Ashton, Michael and Calum all know that I'm coming so they won't be surprised if they see me. The hard part would be to 'hide' from Luke 'till it's time for the meet and greet.
Suddenly, all the fangirls starts to scream louder then before and then the drums starts to play. With every hit on the drums, they brighten with different colors. Then, everything turns black. The girls starts to scream louder and louder, I didn't even know that they could scream that loud, but of course I had to scream too. Out of nowhere, there's a strumming on a guitar and everything lights up. I start to shake when I see them and I can't help but let a tear fall down my cheek. 'End Up Here' starts playing and every single fan in the venue starts singing along. Of course, I do too.
