The BoyBand Project- Loving Zac

Surprise Attack

After my test drive I dropped my mom off at home and headed to the hotel the band was staying at.

*buzz buzz*

*buzz buzz*

"Hello?"

"Hey it's Brandon, what are you doing right now?"

Why was Brandon calling me? We barely said two words to each other in 2 years...

"Uhm nothing just driving around, why?"

I would feel like a stalker telling him that I was heading to their hotel, uninvited.

"Meet me at the volleyball court, we have to talk"

What the hell? About what?

"Bad or good?"

Silence.

"You'll see."

And with that he hung up.. Such a mysterious dude. I turned the car around making my way towards the college campus where the volleyball court was. When I got there, Brandon was no where in sight. I made my way towards the bleachers and then suddenly was dripping wet. The boys ran from behind the bleachers armed with water guns and blasted me.

"YOU GUYS!!!"

I laughed as I wiped the water from my eyes. Nick tossed me an identical water gun and motioned towards Brandon.

"You, Brandon, Levi. Me, Zac and Mathias. Last one standing wins."

Oh it was war. First person out was Levi. I snuck up behind Nick and squirted the freezing water down his back.

"One down"

I winked at Nick as I ran for another hiding place. Where was Zac?

"I GOT MATHIAS!"

Brandon was screaming towards me. So it was us against Zac. I never thought we'd depend on each other for anything, were always so distant. A scream made me flash back to reality. This is was war! The scream was from Brandon apparently. That means Zac was somewhere close. I ran behind the bleachers and leaned up against the fence. I was so out of shape, I couldn't even breathe. All of a sudden I was pinned up against the fence.

"Gotcha"

I opened my eyes and Zac smirked at me.

"This should be cheating. Plus you have to shoot me first but looks like your hands are full"

I bit my lip. Not because I was nervous but because... Well.. This was kinda hot.

"Yeah. But my lips arent. Kiss me."

I bit my lip even harder.

"This is war, I don't kiss the enemy."

I said playfully.

"Fine."

With that he let go and took a step back.

"Shoot me"

He didn't have to tell me twice. This was payback for setting me up.

"War over"

I winked and ran away. I bet he expected me to stay and kiss him now that the game was over but who says girlfriends can play hard to keep? He pouted the cutest puppy dog face and hung his head in defeat.

" you guys were back there so long I was starting to think you had a thing for the enemy"

Nick laughed but I must admit he was right. We were back there for a while.

"Don't worry guys, I got rejected."

Zac said peeking around the corner. All the boys laughed and high-fived me for my victory against my boyfriend. That was the most fun I'd had with the whole band since like... Forever actually. They were truly a big family, I could see that now. And good news is, they all accepted me into their family. I smiled at Zac and he mouthed something to me

'You owe me a kiss.'

I blushed bright red and blew him a kiss. I also mouthed something back to him.

'Infinity & Beyond'

He winked at me and then Brandon took his attention. I turned around to find Nick staring at me.

"Haha I saw that"

I punched him playfully.

"You've already witnessed that I'm licensed to kill"

I smirked at him and pinched his cheek.

"You've already witnessed, I'm still standing."

And with that he walked off. Dramatic exit... Nice touch. I leaned back on the bleachers and closed my eyes as the California sun dried my clothes. Life was good. Somehow I managed to keep a boyfriend and his friends liked me! Haha, looks like I'm doing something right after all.
