-MATHIAS'S POV-
I walked up to Lori's door and took a deep breath. We had decided on going out to eat to get to know each other better but first I had to meet her parents. Her parents had as much respect for personal space as she did, which was none.
"Hi sir, ma'am, I'm Mathias."
"Hello darling I'm Juliana."
The dad took a step closer and I could swear he was smelling me.
"Chris."
I offered a handshake to both of them before being invited to the living room.
"So son, how old are you?"
"Uh 19."
"So you know how old our daughter is?"
I panicked realizing I knew nothing about her. I gave her a quick glance and thankfully she mouthed her age to me, catching on to the fact that were strangers.
"18..."
"You know what that does not mean?"
"Uhh-"
"It does not mean you an keep her out past 11. It does not mean you can do whatever you want and it DOES NOT MEAN that I'm not watching you."
I could already tell that it was going to be a long day. Finally agreeing to let me take out their daughter, I rushed to the car without opening the door for Lori. Brushing it off, she got in cheerfully and smiled at me.
"Where to?"
"Huddle House."
Without giving her time to say anything else, I turned up the music and started driving.

*ring ring*
*ring ring*
It was Mira.
"Hold up, I need to take this, its important."
I didn't even give her a chance to answer before getting up and walking in the opposite corner of the diner.
"Hello?"
"Mathias! What's up?"
"On this date."
"Oh I forgot to tell you. I'm not getting back together with Zac so you don't have to go on the stupid date."
I stared at the phone in disbelief like she had just lost her mind. What?
"What? No I met her screaming weird parents, listened to her talk about herself all day, dealt with her 'no boundaries' thing and you're telling me you're not getting back together?! No YOU'RE GETTING BACK TOGETHER. Bye."
I hung up the phone and returned to my date from hell.
"Hey baby boo, I missed you!"
Did she just.... Yeah they were definitely getting back together.

-MIRA'S POV-
Laughing I threw my phone on my bed. I felt bad I had put him through so much trouble but I just couldn't see myself getting back together with Zac. It seemed like after three years there still was no foundation of trust. Nick suggested it was the stress of the band and Brandon pointed out the bullying they were all getting via Internet. Levi pointed out Zac's jealousy issues & Mathias just wanted something good to come from his horrid date. It still didn't explain why all of a sudden he didn't trust me. He always trusted me. Being brave for the moment I decided to call him on my house phone and ask why.
"Hello? Who's this?"
"Hey Zac, it's mother goose."
"I missed your sarcasm haha."
"Well yanno. Anyways, I have a question"
"Shoot."
I cleared my throat, my braveness came and left, but I continued to speak.
"Why don't you trust me?"
"What?"
"After three years.. you still couldn't trust me?"
"But the picture-"
"I swear to God and the angels above that if you bring up that picture one more time!"
I took a deep breath, trying to regain my composure.
"Listen Zac, I just want to know. Was the last three years built on such a low platform of trust? Or do I look like a whore to you? Or do you just lie a lot when you say what you say?"
There was a silence and I could hear us both taking deep nervous breaths.
"No... Mira, stop."
Noticing I wasn't prepared for this little heart-to-heart, I hung up the phone and tossed it on my dresser. looking at my reflection I rolled my eyes.
"What now?"
The question was directed at myself but my mom took the liberty of eves dropping and answering for me through the door.
"LET MATHIAS HANDLE IT! Nice boy, he's a nice boy."
As my mom's voice faded from the door way I let out a loud, belly born, laugh. Maybe she was right. Let there be proof and then see where we go from there.

-ZAC'S POV-
I stared at the phone in disbelief, asking myself what just happened. I never thought this is how we would end. Scratch that, I never thought we would end. Things just got out of hand to quickly and too many tears were shed and something in my body wouldn't let me fix it. Something wouldn't let me get on my knees again. Something in my body didn't want us together anymore but it still needed us together. I needed her, whether I liked it or not but for some reason I couldn't be with her anymore. Honestly, no, I didn't think she was dating Mathias behind my back, I know better. Maybe it was the fear that I knew she could do better. No matter what she said or how insecure she got, I just knew she could have anyone she wanted. She picked me. Me. Why? I don't know but I was holding her back from something more for 3 years and it all got to me. I took a deep breath and contemplated calling her back and apologizing and begging for forgiveness but that just ended in me throwing my phone in frustration.
"Fuckkkkkkk!"
I closed my eyes, feeling a headache arise.
"Come on Zac, you're fucking up."
