As November rolled around, the storms rolled in with it.  But there was one night in particular that got to Aaron.  We had had just turned out the lights and I was on the verge of sleep.  I heard Yami move in his sleep, but it wasn't his normal movements I had learned.  These were fitful.

Soon, I could hear small whimpers from his mouth.  Thunder boomed and shook our building.  Flashes filled our room.  I turned to face his bed.

  "Mmm, n-n-no."

I slipped out of my covers and padded across the room as silently as I could.  I pulled his covers up gently and slipped under them.  He balled himself up, still whimpering.  He was warm and covered in sweat.

  "I, I do-n't wanna."

"Shh, you're fine."  I said, slightly stoking his hair.  I wrapped my arms around him and nuzzled my face into the back of his neck.  I seemed to calm a bit, he was sweating and shivering slightly.  I whispered into his ear, trying to calm him down.  Thunder cracked and lightning flashed.  I squeezed him tighter, after awhile, he seemed to stop shaking and mumbling, but he was still a sweaty mess.  I listened to his now steady breathing and fell asleep to it.

Hey, back again!  Ugh, I know, I know, it's short.  Just a cute filler chapter for you markimashers.  Not my fav, but hey, I got it done. -Rebecca.
